Huracac word of the day: Rectify
Decided to go freeform for this one, mixing styles as I saw fit. From now on, the uncalligraphed version of the word will be written in white on the top or bottom of the page.
I'm currently using Ling to learn Cantonese, and I've noticed that in some recordings (such as 「你好嗎?」), tone 1 sounds more like tone 3. Why is that?
I am currently in the process of building a new geometric-italic hybrid font for personal use. I'd appreciate any critiques about how to make the spacing between glyphs look more even. Here I have attached a Drive link to my font file. I design the glyphs in Inkscape and then import them into FontForge.
If someone could give me style-specific critique, it would be very helpful for me.
This one's a bit rushed so I hope you guys don't mind 😅
Do I need to check out the beginners' guide, or is this good enough for me to continue?
