After taking this system for a test drive, I'm not particularly pleased with the result, but I think it may be easier to use than Everett's original system.
STREV is light-line, so any shading you see here is a by-product of the pen I used.

I have recently arrived from my vacation abroad. If you've been following me for a while, you know how interested I am in different shorthand systems, and in finding the one I like best.
However, the hard truth is that there is no 'perfect' system. Hence, lest I should get lost and waste months of my beautiful life, I have decided to choose a handful of systems I like, and stick to them. See if you can guess which 3 systems I used :)
I may occasionally look at different systems, but most of the time, when I write in shorthand, it will be in one of these three systems.
Today is the day I turn 17 years old. So to commemorate this big day, I have composed this special calligraphic piece. I am now officially 1 year away from legal adulthood, so I want to remind my future self how creative I was in my prime.
