Tipping is a racist, sexist, ageist way to compensate servers

Question: What entitles the BOSS to underpaid labor? Nothing. He’s greedy. They should be paying 20-30/hour for staff, so customers don’t need to tip. The bosses are RICH while the customers are not.

On Topic : Studies have shown tipping has zero correlation to server performance. Instead, tipping is strongly correlated to race, gender, and age:

* Young women get more than middle-aged or older women.

* Women get more than men

* Whites get more than blacks

Tipping is a very biased & prejudiced way to pay people. It’s fundamentally flawed. U.S society would be better to eliminate it & pay high wages (like $20-30/hour regardless of race, gender, age)

Dear Servers: STOP complaining at the customers & start complaining to the bosses

They should be paying 20-30/hour so you don’t need tips to survive. Bosses are RICH where customers are not. Take from the rich, not the poor or middle class.

EDC will they still have 1-day tiickets?

NEWS: Las Vegas EDC is going to 2 weekends in 2027. You can choose Weekend 1 or 2 (or both).

But I typically buy the single-day Sunday Only option.

Anyone know if that will be eliminated?

AITJ cause my future wife expects her future husband (me) to pay 100% of the bills?

I’m engaged. My fiancee told me today, she expects me to pay 100% of the bills after marriage (and give her $500 monthly allowance too). She will keep her earnings totally for herself.

Her income is approximately the same as my income, so I said we should share the burden of paying bills & supporting the family. I said that’s how it was with my mom/dad and grandma/grandpa and great-grandma/grandpa (married 1930s). Both worked; both paid bills & shared household chores. A partnership.

She said my family is weird & that’s wrong. The man should be 100% the provider.

I have 8 deals on my app in Vegas. So does my second account on my workphone. So does my girlfriend on her phone

Also double points for breakfast, and a BOGO Free deal on my paper receipt.

Just because your local area has no deals (or few deals) doesn’t mean it’s like that nationwide. It varies from city to city.

Getting free food from the app

New app accounts get an “offer” of 2 pieces fried chicken (or wings or chicken sandwich, etc). Plus a “reward” of a free regular side. You can setup as many new accounts as you wish. Just need a different email for each one.

I combine it with the 9-piece deal at $16. That’s eleven pieces at only $1.45 each piece. Plus free side. (Not as cheap as KFC’s $1.25/piece bucket on Tuesdays but still decent.)

Recently I saw an image claiming a burger has “healthy” ingredients. Wrong. The beef & cheese ingredients are high in saturated fat (solid at room temperature). Eventually that saturated fat will clog your arteries.

Beef & cheese are UNhealthy ingredients, even if you make the burger at home.

Instead use foods that have UNsaturated fat like vegetable oil, olive oil, etc. These fats are liquid at room temperature & won’t clog your arteries.

I used a BOGO Free receipt deal so I actually got two of them at $3.95 each. Not bad. It’s basically a Double quarter pounder Deluxe (minus the tomatoes; add crunchy onions). Even the sauce tasted similar to the Double QP Deluxe sauce.

The second burger I got without the sauce & I think it was better. I could taste the individual components of lettuce, onions, crunchy onions. The cheddar cheese had no flavor. McDonalds must have used the cheapest cheddar they could find.

Would I buy the Big Arch again? Nope. I’d just get a quarter pounder deluxe. It costs less

AKA cheapskates. Last year Gordon Ramsay (which is a restaurant I used to enjoy) earned almost 100 million dollars, but he still insists he can only afford to pay 10/hour to his servers in his various U.S. locations from East to west. And therefore we should tip Gordon’s employees 20% minimum to compensate. Gordon’s words.

What lies! What greed. Forget him. He’s literally RICH. Wealthy. He needs to pay higher wages to his staff & stop guilting customers to cover his cheap behavior. The F’ing asshole (who swears every sentence he utters).

WEALTHY restaurant owners should pay 100% of their labor costs.

I almost erased my app, but now I’m glad I didn’t.

McDonald’s just sent me a deal for $1 Big Mac this week. Not a big fan of that burger, but it’s only a dollar so why not? I’ll try it again. It’s a sixty-year-old classic.

I can picture what they’re saying: “That customer left a big tip. Good! That means I the owner can be a cheapskate & only pay 7.25/hour. Suckers!”

Had my 2nd new whopper & other than the bun tasting softer, the overall burger is the same. Even though I ordered “off the broiler” the patty was dry & lacked moisture (same as always). I prefer juicy patties.

The new Onion rings are surprisingly good. I like how they upgraded to complete onion rings. There’s a nice crunch on the outside, but still juicy on the inside.

The rings & the upgraded nuggets are both good improvements over the old recipe.

When I was in middle school, the teacher showed us a 1970s film about restaurant etiquette. It said 10% is the standard tip amount.

Now suddenly servers expect 20%. It’s often the default amount on payment screens. Crazy. I’ll stick with what I was taught in school

Anthony Bourdain gave a good review for Popeyes Mac & Cheese and Cajun Gravy mash, so I was inspired. I guess he liked spicy foods because the Cajun Gravy Mash was spicy (as expected).

The Mac & cheese was delicious so I see why he loved it. But honestly tasted no better than Velveeta Mac & cheese that I make at home for 1/5 the price

Next-up Red Beans… overcooked/ mushy. And finally the chicken: Breasts & thighs. Someone commented the interior chicken meat is well-marinated & they are correct. Juicy, flavorful. Unfortunately the exterior breading was “hard” and kinda bland. I would’ve like more seasoning

Well that’s all :-)
