This is my least favorite inconsistency in the whole show.

While I don't like inconsistencies in fiction, I don't usually get worked up about them, since I accept it as something that just happens with franchises. But sometimes a franchise will pull something that just bothers me to no end.

In MLP's case, is Scootaloo forgetting that she knows about Lightning Dust and her history with Rainbow Dash.

Firstly, these two episodes are only a Season apart, so there's a very good chance that someone who watched the Season 7 episode will notice the inconsistency in Season 8. I think even a young child would be able to notice it.

It almost feels like an insult to the show's audience, that they'd just not notice or care about this very clear inconsistency.

But what really gets me is how Rainbow Dash's parents make a cameo at the end of The Washouts. Their debut appearence was in Parental Glideance, the episode that this episode is contradicting. This really tells me that the people working on The Washouts were either not paying attention or just didn't care about the contradiction being made.

Ben 10 fanmade aliens - Legzard.

I kinda envisioned this as a Kickin' Hawk and Liam replacements.

Legzard is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an alien from the planet Terradino. He was unlocked through an alien criminal of the same species.

Legzard is a dinosaur-like alien that lacks arms. In compensation, he has incredibly tough and versatille legs, with their flexibility and dexterity allowing them to be used like arms. He also has a fast running speed.

His clawed feet allows him to penetrate and firmly stick to surfaces, including walls. He also possesses a long tail with spiked ends that can be used offensively.

When you actually think about it, Destroy All Aliens getting all of the Classic voice actors to reprise their roles is kind of impressive by Ben 10 standards.

I know the movie was an one-off, but still. Specially back in the UAF era where a lot of these characters had different voice actors.

They even got Fred Tatasciore to reprise his role as Way Big, despite Way Big himself recycling his UAF design in the movie (it's kind of an interesting clash when you also think about it).

Honestly, Destroy All Aliens does a much better job at being a Classic revival than even Omniverse. It just slots right in there.

I don't know if anyone else shares this sentiment, but I'm really not a fan of XLR8's voice in Omniverse.

I get thrown off by it, 'cause it really doesn't feel like he should sound like this, all higher pitch and clean.

The first colored flower, grown before all the others.

Affectionately named "Lil' Purpy" by Asgore, it was his very first attempt at growing a flower for his wedding bouquet to Toriel. However, it grew too little due to Asgore's past inexperiences, making it non-viable to him. A different purple flower was grown in its place instead.

But despite this, Asgore still kept it alive and preserved it for many years longer than its natural lifespan, taking good care of it like all of his colored flowers.

I think it would've been amusing if Chapter 5 had a Photoshop reference in reference to "Photoshop Flowey".

Maybe an NPC is seen "photoshopping Flowery" or something. Or maybe there's a joke about "Photoshop attack", where you are attacked with photoshopped images.

Life of a Darkner VS. Life of a flower.

This is something I just felt like talking about, even if it's obvious.

A primary difference between Darkners and flowers is how they interpret being alive.

Darkners are objects, meaning that a Dark Fountain gives them life. However, that life is pre-determined based on the history of the object the Darkner is based on. They have memories as if they've always existed as people even prior to a Dark World being created.

Flowers are living beings, which translates to them remembering life in the Light World as immobile plants that can't do anything. They don't have a pre-determined life the way Darkners do.

Due to this, the darkness allows flowers to realize themselves as people in a way they can't in the Light World. Darkners don't have this issue since they always remember their lives even during moments when they aren't inside a Dark World.

Flowers remember their lives in the Light World as being "stuck" as plants, with them being able to be people inside a Dark World. Darkners always remember their lives as people regardless of the World they're in.

Since the flowers decided their own beings in the Dark World, that means that Aqua's similarities to Kris is her deciding to be this way on her own.

It also means that Flowery paralleling Rudy is him trying to appeal to Asgore. And any other parallels the flowers have to other characters are them deciding to be that way.

In the DELTARUNE Summer Newsletter 2026 Toby Fox states that the flowers decided how they looked like and who they wanted to be. This implies that their beings aren't influenced by the creator of the Dark Fountain the way Darkners are.

A while ago there were people saying that Ralsei wasn't meant to look like Asriel and that Susie and Noelle just didn't know what they were talking about.

The arguments I'd be hearing were things like "Ralsei is just meant to look like a Boss Monster, and Susie and Noelle are generalizing Ralsei's appearence due to a lack of familiarity". But I didn't think those arguments landed since the game very clearly intends for you to compare Ralsei to Asriel, specially with Noelle, someone who did know Asriel back then (apparently her opinion just didn't matter because Kris is adamant about Ralsei and Asriel looking different).

The game does emphasize that Ralsei looks different from Asriel besides the similarities, but when you even got Asgore now saying that Ralsei looks like Asriel at a glance.

Also, Ralsei's name is very unsubtle. I don't understand why people would just ignore that.
