Just had a vivid memory of D2 before Multi Shot was nerfed

Clearing whole cow levels solo in a full game in like 3-5 minutes D2 was such an amazing game to play since launch. Watching it grow and evolve and twist and shift was my greatest experience in gaming (along with playing Super Metroid for the first time).

Just waxing nostalgic here.

Does anyone else have any Diablo 2 memories to share?

Beach Nerds Gummy Cluster

Found on the beach near Homer, Alaska. It seems like there’s something sort of jelly-like on the inside so it really reminds me of nerds gummy clusters.

I’m guessing it’s some sort of creature that uses these rocks to protect itself. How are they all sticking together and what is it!

EDIT: it is not magnetic it’s just flopping around in the video. It seemed squishy on the inside and was truly “stuck” to the bigger rock but did not stick to any other areas.

Moving time

TLDR: change and sobriety makes Homer something something.

I’ve been ousted by my landlord. He gave the whole building 30 days to vacate — this was on 6/24. I’ve seen a bout 10-12 apartments since the day, and I think I’ve finally landed on one. My rent is going up double and then some, but the building does have some conveniences. Honestly, since the moment I got the notice I’ve been nervous wreck. I’ll be happy once I’m out of this place and moved into the next.

To make matters more interesting I was offered an opportunity at a private club as a server. I currently work at an upscale Chicago steakhouse, but this private club gig would be a huge leg up. The interview lasted about an hour, part of which was a tour of the 7 story club. I was scouted by their food and beverage director, and I have been praying for more gainful employment. The interview(7/15) went very well, but I haven’t heard back yet. All I can think is that my new apartment and my current job are going to somehow be the end of me. For what it’s worth I’m also 4 years clean off of heroin. Things have been tough, but this is the first significant hiccup that I’ve had since I have achieved longstanding sobriety.

Anyhow, for those who have read, thank you for doing so— I really really needed to vent.

Why can’t I add an additional tip?!!!!!

This is really aggravating. I have no option to increase the tip for a uber driver who was uber helpful. I haven’t even been asked to rate the driver. I have gone to support and they are not helpful. Uber has the most dog **** customer care I have ever encountered in my life. They seem to care even less about their drivers.

My Ex girlfriend showed me ‘Sudden’ Patches of Discoloration on my back

These patches of discolored skin have recently formed on my back. Is this something to be gravely concerned about? Should I seek immediate medical attention?
