So, am i the only one that absolutley loves the production and vibes of the entirety of “Rust”?

It’s something i’ve seen complained anout the album, with people disliking the grittier sound and agressive production. A lot of a people also hate the messages and dark, political lyrics in the songs. And yes, for a time i was completly tooken back by the change of style from zero_one, but years later, i find this to be an absolute banger of an album.

Now first, the agressive aspects of the album go fucking hard when in the right mood, i especially i love how “Kill Us All” is almost a straight dubstep track. Speaking of which, Rust is a genre of it’s own, and i would love to hear more sounds similar to this album. this album has variety too, like, you cannot say every track sounds the same, with songs like “Malibu Pier”, “Orphans”, and “This Will Be Our Year”.

Second, while i kinda get how the messages of oppression, greed, and social heiarchy are very off brand for a band like TLT, but honestly, it’s not to bad, and they each tell a different story, and you can take most lyrics out of the context and it would still make sense (well.. maybe not “Kill Us All” or “Malibu Pier”).

Now of course, the biggest problem of this album is that all the songs are so underwhelmingly short, like, none of them reach 3 minutes, which does hurt my enjoyment a little bit, because i wanna hear more. but i’d say the time limits are justoified mostly.

Overall, yeah, i like Rust, Not a masterpiece and probably not as good as zero_one, but i still listen to it a lot.

What the general opinion on Come Alive?

For me, this is easily the best song on Inertia.

The guitar work is insane, the lead melody is an earworm, and the breakdown in the middle is insane! Not to mention that Swire’s vocals are on point! The slow pace doesn’t bother me at all, because everything is just so catchy.

Strobe (Emotional)

The soft, gentle, curious melody plays, pulsing lights gently flash with the gentle rhythm of the eager keys and subtle pads. Its sounds are happy, yet feel as if it’s calling out a long-awaited moment, as the pads start to ascend, the melody it’s barely changing, perfectly satisfied with its somber performance. The subtle changes to the rhythm make the lights dance in the void, carefree yet somewhat longing. The atmosphere shifts gradually. Then the pads start to swell, the bass leaps in strong, yet gentle as if not to scare the lights, that are now ascending. The atmosphere starts to feel emotions of all types, content, sad, happy, angry, curious, it ascends to something greater as the strings come in, the smoke hisses, the lights now flourishing as it starts filling this immaculate feeling of an atmosphere, everything feels perfect, like how everything will get better.

Then another set of keys are heard in the back of the atmosphere, wanting to join in, showing off a strobing light, asking to join the melody. As it starts breaking through, it becomes clear that it’s more than a simple tune, it’s a symphony of immaculate euphoria and perfect harmony as it joins and merges the melodies, and takes the lights over creating a light show of sorts. The drums kick in, sharing its beautiful flashing lights that fill the air like fireworks, making its grand appearance, then the bass keeps it low, yet visible foggy lights hanging in the air.

Now the drums, bass, and keys are playing in the sky, happy with what they are. But the melody dares to grow stronger as the atmosphere encourages it, making the keys grow more eager to shift into something more beautiful. The drums take a breathing and the bass steps back, letting the joyous keys have their light show dance grow and flourish. The keys grow excited, shifting its melody, making a soft, yet gentle opus of notes, that’s starting to grow with joy and beauty, making its atmosphere happy and bright, proud to exist. Another lead joins behind it, along with the gentle bass guiding back with it, making an outline for the strobing lights, then all come together wonderfully, expressing their indescribable joy. Then suddenly, the drums and the pads, start to fade back in, the lights flicker back in as the melody finally drops.

The lights flourish and glow around its happy atmosphere, all the keys and bass and pads making a sensational feeling that not only flows through your body, but in your bones, from your hair to your toes, as the melody proceeds to go beyond the beauty of the stars. The second lead joins back in, making the lights and music bloom with indescribable feeling as you immerse yourself into this warm, gentle, beautiful feeling of hope, peace, despair, shallowness, no matter what you’re feeling, the sights and sounds are sure to provide. That second lead excels further, like a rocket ship soaring through the vast emptiness of space, course set to the brightest star in the sky. But no light can ever outshine our uplifted souls escaping our bodies, the rhythm grows stronger and makes everything else important feel like nothing. This is where you wanna be, this is the sight you wanna open your eyes to, and this is the song that you want to rest your eyes forever to.

But as all great stories have time and time again show us, it must all sink to a conclusion. And then it all comes down. The second melody goes away as sudden as it appeared, with the bass fading slowly into itself, the lights already dimming. The melody still repeats its lovely tune, but even it starts to relax as it lets go slowly, but still wanting to push out one final heartfelt burst of energy as it starts to sizzle into the atmosphere. The drums resume their hard beating as the rest slowly start to vanish within the atmosphere. The drums then start making their grand finale as the misted lights start to flicker and dim lowly, as if saying farewell and thanks for the unforgettable experience it had as it strobed away, the last sounds making the last lights of the atmosphere, the particles dance a little… all before coming to a satisfying, beautiful end.

Now do us all a favor and play it again!!

I think my dad is ashamed of my autisim

Whwnever i mess something up, or when we get into fights, or when he lectures me, he uses the phrase “because of your autisim” a lot, and it really strikes a nerve. I just feel like he doesn’t respect me or treats me equaly.

He’s not a bad dad either, we watch movies every night, and watch football durring the season, we cook together sometimes, but i just feel like he doesn’t respect me because of my condition.

I’d like recomendations on artists

So far my experience with the genre is Skrillex, Martin Garix, and Knife Party, the later i loved listening to the most. i also heard of names like Flux Pavilion, Noisia, and Nero.

I’m looking for something agressive, yet melodic. I alao like experimental music as well
