Pippin drops the ring (somehow) and Sauron gets it. He gets reformed and is ready to lay siege to the world of men

Eru sends Eren Jaeger to help fight against him. Eren has all his end of series titan abilities.

If the founder is too much (actually yeah Idk what Sauron could ever do to that) then in round 2 Eren has all the abilities except for the founder 1200 foot giant body ability and creating past titan shifters.

How would it go?

The Fellowship of the Ring vs Eren Jaeger

Fellowship is strength level as of Rivendell, this is Eren end of series but he only has the Attack Titan, hardening, and the warhammer titan. The fight takes place on the edge of a forest.

Elrond warns them of the creature and tells them the weak point is the nape of the neck and of his powers.

Round 1: Gandalf is restricted but can fight.

Round 2: Gandalf can do whatever he is allowed to do against a serious enemy and is gandalf the white

Def want 2024 content and wish they still had updates. Anyone know what happened? Can we bring em back??

Idea is an eladrin/fey PC lost his name to an archfey. He’s now called No Name or Nobody and when someone tries to call him a nickname a sort of static plays over it - The archfey has stolen his name and you can’t give him another.

I have not thought yet as of how he lost his name and came to be under their patronage

Yet he’s here as a knight for her, on a quest (whatever that lines up with the DMs plot - would need collaboration probably)

The class i’m thinking about is the arch fey warlock - using eldritch blast and repelling blast and teleporting around. They’re very light on their feet

Despite their circumstances / background this fey is happy and optimistic and seems cocky even. He seems to be devil may care, he can teleport out after all. Dangerous and beautiful and his teleportations leave flowers in its wake fluttering down

I don’t want him to be super lolrandom haha

He might say something to his enemies like “It’s no worries friend! You’ll be dead soon” or “You are dying marvelously”
And to his friends he might say “that’s a great idea. Oh that’s an even better idea! We should do them all.”

Open both to ideas expanding on this or alternate ideas! Is any of this cringey or too main character syndromey? But looking for both feedback and new ideas! Thanks

What’s more fun? What’s better?

Was thinking of making an archfey warlock, a fey character. I reaaaally like Cloud goliath’s 35 feet of movement - that seems to lend well to this mobile teleporting tricksy fey. And I could reflavor the race

The one thing is the other two features about strength checks and carrying capacity probably would never come up and wouldn’t really be thematic for the character so it’d be wasted features

The eladrins riders are also nice and could be flavorful though. It also lends a little easier to the idea of a fey character.

Any opinions or thoughts?

I've been playing brawl ranked and winning almost every game and been climbing

Does this mean I'm ranked 8 on all of the constructed formats or just ranked brawl?

Also someone said it was too early, is it too early for that to mean something? Is it harder later?

Kinda wondering if this is an achievement or not really, and if so is it fair? (Or again, is it too early)?

My laptop is having issues charging. And Ive figured out if i tilt the laptop vertically, it will charge. Then i can tilt it back down to normal levels. If i tilt it vertically downwards it will stop charging

I called, its out of warranty

Does this seem like a charger issue, or a charging port issue? I have an appointment with a local technician tomorrow, is that the best step forward?

Kinda sucks, I bought this laptop a long time ago but never used it, I just opened the box last month.

Percy’s in all of the books and is one of the main characters. But what is his actual arc? It felt like such a vapid waste of a great character.

The writing sets some things up. Percy has been neglecting his responsibility to enforce the gods to follow through with their promise to him. And he has neglected his friend.

As I read this came off as so weird to me.

First, Percy has been a pretty good person. He rejected the gods gift and instead made them face their errors (which, can be fatal when dealing with gods) and requested they make it right by claiming kids and providing houses for all the minor gods. This is a brave, and extremely selfless act.

Now you’re telling me he just completely forgot about it and neglected it? 1 Is that it’s only was a few months before his mind got wiped by Hera. And a few months is not a lot of time to go barging on literally the gods door to make them start enforcing it NOW. Which they had been somewhat, so it’s not like they didn’t do anything. And 2 it’s that in Percy Jackson, Percy clearly demonstrates he does care, to a selfless degree, and righted someone else’s wrongs.

So this new criticism of his character comes out of nowhere, and isn’t substantial either. It’d be like saying Percy’s character is that he doesn’t care about Annabeth. it wouldn’t mean shit.

It also just retreads on the same old ground. Character becomes a hero > Solves issue and fixes problem with world > New series - hey character you didn’t care enough about fixing the problem with the world, actually.

No, he did.

Then there’s that whole little arc with Bob. I liked the whole Bob story, but considering the criticism here is that Percy wasn’t a good friend and this happens in some outside story I didn’t even know existed, it rings hollow. Also.. Percy is shown to be a great friend. I could buy that he’s not been a great friend to a former monster sure I guess. But all of this kinda happens off screen.

Then there’s the whole set up for his fatal flaw. His Fatal flaw being his friends. I keep waiting for it to progress that story beat, there’s tension there because the writing and gods are foreshadowing that Percy is going to have to make a choice between his friends and the world… And it could cost the world.

And crickets. Nothing. A giant smoking checkovs gun and I was left wondering did I miss a huge chapter? It literally never gets utilized. They set up a huge character point and for what reason?? This is worse than just clicking delete on all those sentences and having nothing there.

I just feel like there was no character arc for our beloved character. Worse, he sets up a character arc and then doesn’t use it. And the other part of the character arc is so uncharacteristic of our hero and nearly retconning his accomplishments and growth.

What do you all think?

The characters are generally aware of eachother and their abilities

Monsters are not able to get into camp halfblood. Rn i’m reading Blood of olympus currently i’m about 75% of the way through

But the monsters are lined up outside I thought they had to be way further out. How are they even going to help?

What would you do if you were getting let go?

I'm watching videos like limited level ups. Im trying to think about what im doing and asking for advice. But god I suck. I feel like im always so close to winning but im often going 0 wins in pick two draft.

Often Im just getting such mixed signals and i dont know what lane to go into, or i feel like im just seeing mostly bad cards, or ill get some good cards but that lane will be closed.

I got practiced scrollsmith and suspend aggression and thought that was the best choice. There were a few more good white cards, and so i took them, but then red white actually closed and I dropped it. I was passed germination practicum and another good green card and i took them. Then green closed. There were a few more decent white cards, but nothing substantial, and everything else was mostly pretty subpar. Im not even sure what to make of this.
