I know this has been said here before, but the crimson ninroot quest straight up sucks

I avoided completing this quest in every playthrough I’ve had before, and now I am just trying to complete it for the sake of doing it, but genuinely why did they include this in the game?

Just spent 2 hours runnng around blackreach, encountering the occasional enemy, but mostly just ainlessly searching for crimson ninroot, of which I have only found about half of them.

They are not easy to spot either, the red/crimson part does not really stand out from afar, and the glowing part looks the same as half of the other stuff here.

This has gotta be the actual worst quest in Skyrim, and I can’t even see the vision behind putting it in. If they are going to make us search around blackreach for hours to find these, at least give something else to do while we are looking.

A bit of a rant but to sum it up I am not a fan of the crimson ninroot quest

Did I screw up by trading away my players in this dynasty startup league?

12-team 1QB PPR league non-TEP

We had our startup draft about 2 months ago, and I felt like I had drafted a solid team to compete. But since then I’ve ended up trading away a ton of players for future picks + getting a bit younger.

Screenshot attached of my total trades, I received the right side. The 2nd slide is my team now and 3rd slide was my team at first.

Did I screw up by doing this or was it a good value gain?I’m kinda thinking I may have just turned my team from a contender to a rebuilder for no reason.

What do you think?

How valuable are 2028 picks compared with 2027?

How valuable would you say a random 2028 1st is when compared with a random 2027 1st? The 2027 draft is not only closer but hyped up as being very deep and talented.

Do you think it is worth it to try to trade 2028 1sts into 2027, and if so what is the value difference there?

Is it worth trying to trade 2028 picks for 2027 picks?

I have 2 2028 1sts and 2 2028 2nds, I am thinking of trying to trade my 2028 picks for 2027 picks instead, is it worth it to do that? What kind of premium would you expect to pay to convert a 2028 pick into a 2027?

Player Price Check: Rome Odunze

How do you value Odunze going into the 2026 season? He has been a relatively strong fantasy asset thus far, while he has managed to stay healthy, but do you think he will continue to thrive?

His value seems to be on the downswing this offseason, with most citing long-term injury concerns, especially after some particularly concerning statements made by Rome himself this offseason. Another big factor is the rise of Luther Burden, who the fantasy community seems to be extremely excited about.

What do you think? Are you still trying to acquire Rome Odunze at this point, and if so, what are you giving up? If you own him, are you selling or holding?

Blind Ranking: Which RB would you rather have in dynasty?

How would you rank these two players in dynasty solely looking at their stats from last year?

Both players have their RB room situations largely unchanged from last season, and are under contract for the same number of years. Player A is one year older than Player B.

Who would you rather have and what would you say the value difference between these two are, in terms of draft picks?

What if an NFL offense just played the way they do in a 2-minute drill, the whole game?

I have seen so many games where a team is down multiple scores near the end of the game, and they play very fast/aggresively, no huddle, hurry up offense, then drive down the field and score quickly (sometimes multiple times). So why haven’t any offenses just tried playing this aggressively the entire game?

I understand that it is riskier, but high risk also leads to high rewards. Also, it is true that the offensive players will tire more quickly but the same thing will be true for the defense. Even if the scheming on defense is different (not playing prevent, not intentionally allowing easy short yardage gains etc) it seems that this play style could be extremely productive.

So why have we not seen any offenses at least try to do this early on in the game?

Which of my teams have the greatest chance to be competitive soon?

Which of these teams would you say has the greatest chance to become a contender in the next year or so, if any of them? All are my teams in different leagues, should I focus on one more than the others? Just don’t want to be stuck in a rebuild across all of my leagues so looking for some advice, thanks!

Were either of these offers reasonable or are we both off in value?

I sent an offer that I thought was pretty reasonable, but it got insta declined and countered with an offer that I thought was a big underpay for Justin Jefferson. It made me think though that my initial offer might have been off value-wise as well. This is a startup league so I feel like trade values are a bit all over the place. What do you think?

Are there any chess bots that actually emulate human play well?

I have been playing against bots pretty often recently, especially times when I don’t have internet / am offline as I can’t actually play real games, but I feel (as many others do) like the chess.com bots are not anything like playing against people, especially at the lower elo that I am at.

Are there any chess bots, on chess.com or elsewhere (ideally free to play against), that actually emulate human play well instead of just being engines that randomly blunder some % of the time?

Would you rather have a 2029 2nd or a 2027 3rd?

At first thought, it seems obvious that a 2nd > a 3rd, but is it really that straightforward when you think more about it? Time value is a real thing, and that 2029 pick is still 3 years away therefore the perceived value is lower. On top of that, 2027 is being touted as a rather strong class.

Assuming both random picks, which one would you rather have? Does it change things if the 3rd is projected early?

Should I still try to compete or fully commit to the tank?

12-Team PPR Dynasty Startup

I originally drafted my team with the intention of competing this year, but then ended up making a series of trades where I gave up some of my productive players for future picks.

Now I’m sitting on some extra draft capital, but feel like I still have some decent players as well, so I’m not sure if I should try to fill out the lineup and compete this year, or fully commit to the tank and keep selling, or just do nothing and stay with my current squad.

What would you do here? Any advice appreciated

Is there still hope for RJ Harvey?

I just traded for RJ Harvey, I’m having a bit of second thoughts though. Is there still hope for him or is he cooked?
