ANSWER: in topology, a "hole" (technically the first Betti number, or how many independent loops you can draw on the surface that can't be shrunk to a point) isn't about how many separate apertures you can see. It's about boundary components on a genus-0 surface, and the formula is: holes = (number of boundary circles) − 1
now, we don't know anything about back of the shirt, except that it can't be without any holes (see how the cardboard can be seen thru the front holes). So it can be one giant hole or more (no upper limit).
therefore, the number of boundary circles is "at least 11". so given the hint, the number of (topological) holes is "at least 10".

Why is my 200m so bad?
15M, I recently ran my first outdoor meet of the szn. And as you can see I opened up with an 11.89 100m, followed 3 hours later with a... 27.80 200m?
people who ran over a second slower than me in the 100m ran a second faster than me in the 200m and I was so confused to why it did not transfer as I strongly believe my speed endurance is my strong suit coming from my football background.
Why is this? I was pushing hard and smooth along the bend and through the straight, I maintained a lead at a start but people passed me after ~ 80-120m.
I play a DB and RB in football for reference.
