We need Liturgical Languages with by god alone

With playable theocracies coming its pretty absurd that the pope doesnt speak Latin, that rabbis dont speak hebrew

1 for hebrew

Every jew should know hebrew or have an event to learn it around 10 ot do because hebrew in judaism has been used for such a long plethora of prayers that even Maimonides (a charecter featured as a historical figure in this game) used hebre instead of his first language because he expected all jews across the world would be able to understand it that way, and he was right.

I know less about catholic history but I know all priests and monks would speak Latin fluently, seeing as having a common language can he very important in ck3 it would make sense to implement this which would have the side benefit of making it easier to talk to a foreign clergyman than a foriegn noble

It could just be like court languages where when you found a new faith you pick a language to be your liturgical language

Trivial Prayers?

Hi im a jewish teenager and all my life ive had times when ive prayed for very trivial and dumb reasons. Like when im playing a counterstrike game and im doing bad Id just like without thinking be like "HaShem please help me and my team get a comeback, Baruch atah adonai" and then when I win I like yell "HASHEM IS ON MY SIDE"

Just thought about it and something about it feels kinda wrong, is it halakhically okay?

Studying Judaism as an Agoraphobe?

Some bacround: my family is jewish but my parents are very Agnostic, when i was a child I would go to temple for holidays, and very occasionally when my father felt like it, it was reform too so it was even looser than it already wouldve been with such minimal attendence(no shade to reform). For a long time ive been a huge global theology nerd and as a jew ive always had a particular love for the inner workings of jewish theology and mysticism, everything from Maimonides, to Kaplan, to some basic Kabbalistic texts. I somewhat regularly attend a reform, then conservative temple now, and have been since I was 15 or so (i am recently 18). My issue is twofold:

One: alot of stuff in judaism is based on stuff you just sorta know how to do, I was never taught jewish prayer stuff, how or what teffilin is, to recite the shema or anything and due to that I really struggle with it all. I just found out that swaying during prayer is like a traditional thing, I thought we were all just antsy! I jewish theology is deeply important to me and has been for such a long time but due to a multitude of reasons I know more about random obscure stuff than the actual traditions and practices

Second: i have autism and ocd which causes severe agoraphobia, and ive been consistently told that to really study and understand jewish theology im going to need to like go out into the community and stuff and I try but its just insanely difficult. I try to learn through books and videos but ive hit this plateu where books oriented torwards beginners are filled with stuff I know and books torwards experts are far too complex

My main goal in life is to study jewish theology rigorously but it kinda feels out of reach given my circumstances

leftist community (rule)

to be clear im talking about CIVVILIANS for some reason whenever i bring this up people point to donald trump, netanyahu and ICE, no those guys literally arent civilians thats the point! if your only crime is believing something wrong you just need to be taught the right ways.

my rabbi was in israel on october seventh, in the area hamas attacked initally he was an ultra zionist and if he had been taken or killed it wouldve been one less ultra zionist or whatever, but seeing how israel responded to it he completely changed his tune, he instructs people at the temple looking to give to charity as their religous duty, to give to pro palestinian organizations, he goes to pro palestinian rallys and is overall a great guy doing good things, if he had died that day he wouldve never had the oppurtunity to change, never had the oppurtunity to do good.

killing civilians is NEVER justified end of story.

Hijabs & religous attire need to be in the game

Hijabs & religous attire need to be in the game

I find it kind of frustrating that hijabs arent in the game. Now im not muslim (im jewish) but my best friend is a muslim girl, and I cannot add her because I think it would.be super disrespectful to just have her hair be out, and I could give her the sage hat but that comes off whenever they give her an event outfit. The same issue came up when I wanted to add my father who is jewish and wears a kippah, now for him its less serious so I just gave him a hat but its still frustrating to see him not wearing it in like every event. I also wanted to add a nun from a video game I like (pentiment) and this is more just annoying but she also despite having the sage outfit will just not wear during events. It also means I cant give miis with religous attire the fashonista quirk which is my favorite quirk in the game

I feel like given the amount of clothing items and customization it would be pretty easy just to add various religous attires like a basic hair covering to the mii customization options, like how you can give a mii glasses they will always wear

Seeing as they've confirmed they are bringing Christmas as a holiday in, I dont even care about adding other religions holidays (Christmas is kind of a beast of its own) but just a minor religous inclusiveness update would be really nice

I made Nicole and Jecka in Tomadachi life!

I also made cigarettes but sadly they both hate cigarettes. I can only get one tomadachi life to get addicted and its DJ Crazytime

Also I gave this the fanart tag because I wasnt sure what else was even close to what this is.
