I got this BOOX Go 7 color (gen 2) literally yesterday and I was using it in the morning just fine. I left it for 6 hours and came back to a rectangle on the side (Only when the backlight is on). Read that this was a thing on this model.
Do I refund/exchange, or is it not worth the hassle? Does it spread over time?
(Also I havent dropped it or anything I actually just left for a bit and it started doing that.)

The prescript device is very flipper shaped. Im surprised nobodies made an app for it (at least to my knowledge)
Ive been looking for ways to configure it but none of them seem to work. Ive tried bottles, python, couldnt get input remapper to install.

I wanna say its from decky loader, but I dont know how to turn it off cuz i cant get to desktop mode.
Could have been alot better, I also need to make it a bit less fuzzy. just afraid ill deform it.
I didn't want to get a full kit off Amazon because they seem low quality and cheap. Should I buy everything separately? If so, what do I grab?
There's also my local craft store I could check, but I don't recall seeing any felting items
For context, it connects to my PC and Steam Deck through the wireless puck just fine. And last I checked the bluetooth mode worked on my laptop. When I turn on bluetooth on my SD and put the controller into pairing, it doesnt show up.
I tried connecting a dualsense controller to test, and that worked just fine.
Strange?
I know its not from haptics cuz it does the same while its powered off. Its not a hard tink, and I dont feel any resistance or really any difference when pushing it down. Its not too loud, but its enough to notice it (and it makes me paranoid).
I tried playing risk of rain 2 today and you cant hear it over all the other buttons getting pressed, which is nice at least.
Is this a problem that could get worse?

Im trying to play Pokemon Platinum with MelonDS, but when i go into the game controls just dont do anything. Trackpads move around and I see a cursor.
One tiny thing, when I hold Start or Select for a second, I feel a little mini rumble. I havent changed any of the steam input controls, but it looks like EmuDeck set some up.
Any help?
I installed it, then tried opening it again, and it prompted to install again. It already downloaded all the emulators and now it made a big mess. Even deleting it in software didnt get rid of it.
I would rather not turn over my ID or pics to ANY company. I used to see people use gmod, but im not exactly sure how they did it, maybe i need to keep the camera steadier?
I was this close to buying a steam deck oled at these current prices, but I saw a video by Tech Fowler and kind of made made consider the ROG Ally.
Is the Ally just better than the deck while also having Steam OS?
At the same time though, I feel like im just immediately agreeing with his video, and he kinda over hated on the price. I still like the overall look of the SD, the trackpads are also nice. The ROG just looks sort of strange, and also has the xbox oriented joysticks (Thats just me tho)
