URGENT: Has anyone from US done the medical form for study visa?

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I have been accepted to a university in saudi but they only just sent our visa applications. Mine is stalled due to not having the medical form. Has anyone in the US completed this step? I have contacted everyone i could think of and nobody has answers.

Looking for firsthand experience from another student.

We both have an addiction, how to reconcile?

Salam, looking for some advice. I recently entered into a talking stage with someone and ended up finding out we both use this sub. Anyway, as I'm sure you can guess, we both faltered in our resolve. I think he's more open to using our relationship to stay away from worse things, but I dont want to do that and would rather us have our struggles privately and work on building a relationship.

I fear, I havent dealt with this well by blocking/ghosting him and then reappearing when things are better. Anyway, I'm looking for advice on how to keep things halal when we both have this struggle. I'm trying to be understanding but also I don't want to fall into major sin.

Anyone else feel like the portrayal of adult Rhaenyra is just so completely off?

PLEASE NO BOOK SPOILERS

I am getting so irritated with the portrayal of Rhaenyra in this show. Like she's so weak and whiny all the time. I wanted to see a portrayal of a strong woman taking the throne. Maybe she's just a product of her time? Idk but I wondered without giving any spoilers if people who read the book agree or even if people who have the show are equally at irritated. I didnt read the entire book, just some of it + have read excerpts and none of it sounds like who she is now. Her younger self felt more in line with her character.

When are studios going to realize the cash cow that is Avatar?

Why do studios refuse to invest properly in the Avatar series? We've seen major successes with ATLA & LOK and even this new movie but it seems the franchise is constantly being curtailed.

The fanbase imo is larger than HP and has the potential to be a multi billion dollar franchise, but we dont even have merch?! Its crazy to see how overlooked this project is. The interest is there.

Edit: I'm not going to respond to every comment but I stand on what I said. The only diff is the marketing. HP was marketed properly over 20 some odd tests to bring it into the powerhouse it is today. Imagine if ATLA had that kind of juice. The fanbase is already so huge and clearly holds long lasting interest for fans. Also, you guys are thinking in the past. HP had its heyday in the early 2000s but most kids nowadays have never even heard about it. Avatar, however, its very popular among adults and children. Also, I didnt really like LOK but there's no denying it was a success.

Trader Joe's Totes

Has the Trader Joes totes trend reached Saudi? Coming back soon and was thinking of bringing some back as gifts or maybe sell them. Do you think people would like them?

Looking for some good & positice black books that don't have negative tropes of black pain, drugs/alcohol, or stereotypical etc. Where the characters are doing something beneficial with their lives and the MMC is a black man down bad for a black woman. No iqama, is remotely working in KSA illegal?

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I came across a post recently about a woman asking if it was an issue for their iqama for her husband to work for a foreign company remotely in KSA.

It would seem to me that it has nothing to do with the iqama since he is not actually working for a saudi company. Many people have said things about bank investigations and account freezing since he is not allowed to work. But that seems ludicrous to me. He's not allowed to work in Saudi and he's not working in Saudi.

Is this a real thing? I currently work remotely and consistently put money in my bank account. I dont have an iqama, so I'm not authorized to work either, but again I'm not working in Saudi, I work for a foreign company remotely.

PM Dashboard Ideas

Hello, I am creating a Confluence Dashboard that will reference all high-level info you might need at your hands easily for an initiative, including a section where you can quickly jot down any things that pops up, track goals etc. What kinds of things do you track on a daily/weekly basis?

My company currently has nothing that tracks this, so I want to create something to make my life easier.

I survived a PIP

Hello, I recently posted here a few times about my PIP, just wanted to thank this group for all the advice you all gave. If you are experiencing this as well, here are some things I did that helped:

- check within your company to find out their culture around PIPs. So many people online told me it was a done deal, but I found that there were multiple people at my job who survived a PIP so at my company they are meant to be rehabilitative.

- take notes in the PIP. Make them go line by line and explain one by one each item and make them pause while you give clarification (if you want, there is also the approach of just accepting whatever they say)

- take the notes and make a plan for yourself (you can use AI for this). Make sure you are fulfilling all of those things, this will make it harder (but not impossible) for them to get rid of you

- get involved in initiatives that are public facing and over communicate with your manager on initiative updates. Make sure they are seeing the work you're doing. If you can get others to talk you up, do so

Nothing can stop a PIP if they want to get rid of you, but these are some things that helped me.

Is anything real anymore?

Idek where to apply atp. Indeed is dead. Linkedin is a joke. I swear it feels like I'm just submitting resumes into a void. Where are people getting hired from? Its been 2 months and not a peep. Idk what to do anymore. Ig this is more of a rant, but it seems like AI has taken over the job field. Half of the jobs I see are basically AI trainers, the other 30% scams. Idk if a human is even seeing my resume.

BetweenUs - the First Muslim Intimacy Quiz

Salam, I recently created an intimacy quiz for couple to discuss intimacy pre-marriage in a productive way. How it'll work is you both sign up, choose which categories you'd like to discuss, then answer questions independently. After both parties complete the quiz, the answers are sent to each party.

If anyone is currently in the talking stages, and would like to use this tool, I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you can give: BetweenUsQuiz.com

You can leave feedback on the site or email me directly at Salam@BetweenUsQuiz.com

How do I protect my site while I open it up to betausers?

Salam, everyone, I just created a matchmaking tool, first of its kind and I am ready for beta users, but how do I protect my work? Kind of nervous to share it at this stage.
