Super excited. I'm 23, don't have a college degree (I studied engineering for 3 years) and have been working in the precious metals space for 10 months.

Just received a full time hybrid position as a BDR and I am super excited to get started.

I worked in the precious metals space for 11 months as an SDR.

I realized it wasn't for me and that I really wanted to work in tech sales at a startup.

So I applied, and interviewed at a couple places. Went to the final round and was given an offer letter today.

I'm very excited to see where it takes me!

I have a 1993 XJ, and I need to clean the engine bay.

Was thinking of just power washing it and covering the electricals?

My God, I wasn't prepared at all!

I was expecting to talk about the company, why I wanted to work there, my background. Absolutely none of that.

Asked me to pitch him on the product I currently sell which is gold and silver. He immediately said he wasn't interested at all. So I told him to have a good day.

I explained that we are trained to get off the phone with people as quickly as possible who aren't interested.

Then I talked to him about how I'm interested in startups and that eventually I want to help startups grow, with their GTM strategy, etc.

He asked me why that and I said I find it exciting and I've been working on some startup ideas myself..

He then had me pitch him on the one I'm currently working on, how it's different from competitors, what's my angle, how am I going to get users.

It was just a lot of stuff I wasn't prepared for.

I went for the close, and he gave me feedback on the close, said he had no objections and then said he'd follow up in 2 days.

But my God, I was not prepared for it like I thought I was.

Currently work in precious metals sales. 9 months in, I am done..too many red flags at my company.

I want to break into Fintech but it's been really tough. Have a call with a Fintech company tmr, as well as Vendition, who my friend recommended to me.

It's a 3 month paid program and then they hook you up with a job in tech sales at the end.

Thinking of giving it a shot if I'm offered, but I also applied to a lot of Fintech jobs today so it will probably be a last resort.

Does anyone have any good recommendations? I see most people build there out, I just don't have a lot of room to do that.

I've been misfiring intermittently. It's gotten better, and now really only happens when going uphill or really pushing it.

I changed the fuel filter, spark plugs etc and it got slightly better but still was occuring.

I changed all the spark plug wires, and it seems much better but is still happening from time to time really when going uphill.

What could it be?

It's a '93 XJ, only code throwing is a code 15 for the speed sensor

I'm thinking of putting $1k into this to see if it can pump again. What do you think?
