What are the operating conditions for a double triode multivibrator?
I'm designing an all-tube RS170(525 line 60 field) synchronizing signal generator. I need a bunch of monostable multivibrators as pulse generators and frequency dividers. The tubes I have for the purpose are going to be 6BQ7/6BQ7A tubes. (only difference is heater warmup time.) I want to know, from those who have designed a multivibrator using triodes before, what are the bias and feedback going to look like? Do I adjust the cathode bias for cutoff when the grids are at ground? Do I use a resistor divider to change the voltage swing on the grids caused by plate voltage changes? My circuit simulator hates triodes, so I've given up on trying to simulate the circuit I want. I did some guesswork on what I needed and came up with this, but haven't gotten the chance to build/test it yet.
