Im new here, but i'm definitely here to stay. Linux Mint on here was the cherry on top. Time to find an IBM and build a WIN 95 or 98 ThinkPad.
I haven’t had one since 2007. I use my 08 unibody regularly still. Any pointers for using a g4 in 2026? I’m going to keep it OSX. I have a dedicated Linux Mint machine already. I’m thinking mostly work processing and media management.
$20 for this at Savers. Burned some fresh software cds for it so i can avoid the internet.
This media center PC will hold my cd collection digitally to upload to my 3rd gen iPod classic and to serve as home base for my Sony Mavica FD75. I’m stoked to be using XP again!

I’ve heard the whole discography once through and so far my favorite album is Midnights followed by Speak Now. Give me a list to put on while I clean. The only album I’m not huge about is the Self Titled. TIA!

I’m all about retro tech and also an amateur photographer looking for that old digital photo quality. After seeing this subreddit enough I became obsessed. Just ordered my first one on eBay. I only researched a little but it seems like the FD75 will give me just that. Excited to add this to my EDC!

Found this Sony CMT FX300i for $8 and it looks/sounds great!
Seeing so many pictures of iPods on that sub got me interested in what these clear wired headphones everyone uses. Grabbed some KZ ZS10s from Amazon and fell in love with them. Where would you go from here? Are these any good? To me they sound great but I’m coming from anker anc wireless buds so that’s not saying much.
eBay is dangerous now. I need one of each generation in every color.
