Those security alerts that say "your password was exposed in the dark web" and don't say which one
This annoys me so much, getting random notifications from the bank "your password is exposed in the dark web for email xxxxx@xxxx, you should change your password"
Like, what password are we talking about? i have hundreds of accounts with that email all with different passwords. Am i supposed to change my password from over a hundred accounts without knowing which password was exposed and from which website?
Most likely, the "exposed" password is a more than 10 year old password that i havent used in the last decade in the first place.
This information is absolutely useless without saying which password was exposed or at the very minimum which website is the account associated with that password.
Seriously useless notifications causing more trouble than benefit.
Edit: Just to clarify, i don't mean the bank's password itself, they do this service of "dark web monitoring" where they track any mention of your email anywhere in the dark web. Several banks and other providers like google itself do it.
