Last perk for this nimble tank?

Anatomist run, day 182. He's one of the starting bros. Gifted is never bad, Anticipation can help tanking ranged aggro, Lone Wolf can help to tie up multiple enemies, Nine Lives is a potential lifesaver, Dodge can provide some extra Mdef and Rdef.

Why is land being dedicated to new housing while decrepit buildings in cities are left to rot?

I'm all for meeting the needs of the growing population. But wouldn't it be better to incentivize fixing up run down buildings closer to city centres, instead of using new land?

In Lublin, for example, there are dozens of buildings left to rot just 10 minutes from the city centre. The government could partially subsidize their renovation so that singles and families could live there. And then more land would be left available for agriculture/nature.

Steppenwolf + Mercenary mindset

In the professional field, the disconnection between what I long for and what I do is becoming increasingly obvious. I crave job satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment, but most of what I do is simply copy pasting data from one screen to another while following some apparatchik procedures.

As the absurd becomes clear to me, the below quote from Herman Hesse's Steppenwolf resonates more and more. I feel forced to adopt a mercenary mindset, where I simply exchange my time, energy and skills to the highest bidder without caring about company culture, vision and all that noise.

I doubt that I am the only one, and I think many younger millennials and zoomers are waking up to the realities of work. And then I'm not even talking about inflation: the effort you put in remains the same or increases, but your purchasing power keeps going down. Do you feel something similar?

"Do you think I can't understand your horror of the fox trot, your dislike of bars and dancing floors, your loathing of jazz and the rest of it? I understand it only too well, and your dislike of politics as well, your despondence over the chatter and irresponsible antics of the parties and the press, your despair over the war, the one that has been and the one that is to be, over all that people nowadays think, read and build, over the music they play, the celebrations they hold, the education they carry on. You are right, Steppenwolf, right a thousand times over, and yet you must go to the wall. You are much too exacting and hungry for this simple, easygoing and easily contented world of today. You have a dimension too many. Whoever wants to live and enjoy his life today must not be like you and me. Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours."

[Europe] Do you think that drones with thermal imaging will be the end of stealth camping?

I'm mainly referring to places in Europe where you can't just pitch your tent anywhere and wild camping is highly regulated, like the Benelux countries.

If you want to go off the beaten track and still camp outside of designated camping zones, do you think that in the near future drones with thermal imaging will shut that down?

In Belgium, there was a huge wildfire recently and these drones were used to monitor the area after the fire was extinguished. I can only imagine that these drones will be used to spot stealth campers in the near future.

(The fire was likely caused by government services doing maintenance and not campers btw.)

Germany’s traditional deer calling championship, where hunters mimic the vocalizations of red deer. The competition is part of an 800-year-old hunting tradition practiced in Germany.

Surprise moose sighting in Las Dąbrowa (Lublin, Poland)

As I was packing my tent at around 6:30 I heard something and there it was. I couldn't believe my eyes, it's the first time I ever saw one. This isn't exactly a big forest, and it's near to a popular lake. As I stopped recording and pocketed my phone, it ran off.

How to you protect against the irrational trait? BF hammer flank bro.

I think I finally found a decent BF 2H hammer flank bro for my current Northern Raiders run (day 142), but he'll definitely need the arena boost and probably fortified mind as well.

Colossus

Pathfinder

Fortified Mind

Steel Brow

Hammer Mastery

Underdog

Battleforged

Three more of: Gifted, Quick Hands, Brawny, Reach Advantage, Nine Lives, Berserk, Fearsome.

Does that make sense?

Looking for a Vietman call

It was a call where his soundboard was used to impersonate a police officer, saying "This is officer department". I think officer Hart was in the call too.

Does anyone know what the name of this call is?

Also, can you spell your name for me?

Roommate removes the toilet seat every night and keeps it in his room

I live with two other guys and one of them recently started taking the toilet seat off before he goes to bed. Not lifting it, actually unscrewing the whole thing and bringing it into his bedroom.

Apparently he bought the seat himself after the old one cracked, so he says its technically his property. He also says we sit on it too hard and move around too much while sitting, which is supposedly damaging the hinges. We offered to pay him for our share but now he says it isnt about the money, its about us learning to respect stuff. I have money from doing Kick livestreams so I could just buy another one, but then we'd apparently have two competing toilet seats in the apartment.

Every morning he puts it back before work like this is a normal routine. I knocked on his door because I needed to use the bathroom the other night and he handed it to me without saying anything. Our third roommate thinks we should stop reacting because the attention is encouraging him. Has anyone dealt with somebody who creates completely unnecessary systems like this?

Is every entry-level office job in essence just a variation of copying and pasting data from one window to another?

Because that has been my experience so far.

Copy data from onboarding form to program.

Copy data from purchase order to program.

Export data from program to Excel.

Yada yada.

It just doesn't stop and is so mind-numbing. I don't want to live like this. It feels like the mental equivalent of working on a conveyor belt.

There have been jobs where I was able to use my brain more, but they all ended up relocating to a cheaper country. I should probably learn some new skills.

My girls, sir, they didn't care for shitposting at first. One of them actually reported me and got me banned. But I... downvoted them, sir. And when my wife tried to prevent me from doing my duty, I... downvoted her.

You need shitposters like me so you can point your f***ing fingers and say "That's the low quality guy."
