We didnt buy Eustaquio, we got rid of Ordaz, and loaned Smoli.
Its August 3rd, its towards the end of the transfer window, and there are no new rumors or anything about a new major signing. Yet everyone seems convinced something big is coming.
Reminder Son signed August 6, 2025, and there were rumors for weeks leading up to it.
If Thorington isnt cooking, then what? Is this season just a wash?
Tbh I dont see this current squad winning Leagues cup or MLS cup
Just bought a new $1200 4k tv for the world cup and the LA Clasico was the first MLS game I watched on it, and the overhead shots look like absolute dogshit. When the broadcast switches to the side cams or the super up close cams on the players faces it looks great and 4k, but the overhead is terrible looks like worse than 720p.
The weird thing is I watched the highlights on youtube and the overhead shots there looked great, no fuzzyness or anything.
Allegedly Apple TV broadcasts MLS games in 4k but honestly the 720p broadcast of the WC on Fox One looked way better.
I even bought a Roku today and tested it and the MLS overhead shots still look fuzzy.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
So I watched all 12 mini episodes then started the full length episode and it was just the first two mini episodes.
Are the full length episodes just going to cover the 12 mini episodes then continue on past where the minis ended? Or is this season over?
Been a souls fan since DS2s release, played DS3, Sekiro and ER all at release too. Beat DS1 and DS3 countless times. Consider myself to be a pretty decent Souls player, but nothing crazy.
Found a PS4 at a yard sale for $50 so im finally getting to play Bloodborne.
My only knowledge of BB is that parry is important, I can farm blood vials, umbilical cords are important, Lady Maria is hot, and the DLC guy with the placenta is hard.
What else should I know??
Is it like Sekiro where ill need to unlearn my Souls muscle memory to git gud?
Im a Strength enjoyer in Souls games, are strength weapons an option in BB, and are they actually viable?
Im playing on Xbox on normal and just beat the boss at the Statue of Liberty and now im playing as some chick. I was struggling on the Statue of Liberty guy a couple months ago and died like 8 times, and I just started playing again tonight and beat him first try super easily, but I feel like it was just luck?
Tbh idk wtf im doing...
I know X is light attack and Y is strong attack, and ive been trying to block and dash with LB. But in chaotic fights im basically just button mashing. Should I be trying to do some strategy or combos here? I can occasionally pull off the Izuna Drop, but any other combo happens by accident. I know theres a combo menu but theres no way I can remember all that
Idk if its important but I maxed out the Lunar Staff because that was my favorite weapon back in the day when I played the OG Ninja Gaiden 2 demo disc from Xbox Magazine. I also kinda like the falcon talon things but it feels harder to use
I bought a RVL-001 mainly to play my old Gamecube games, but im also interested in getting some Wii games. Best Zelda and Mario games?
Also can I play Wii games with my gamecube controller? If not, are there more normal shaped controllers instead of the stick thing?
I bought the box set for fairly cheap on Ebay and it was in mint condition and unread.
Tbh it was a drunk purchase and i kinda regretted it the next day after looking up reviews for Claymore and seeing opinions on it were pretty mixed on the manga sub.
Ive read the first 7 volumes today and im about to read volume 8 after posting this, and im absolutely loving it so far! Im so happy too because I had been searching for a manga to really pull me in after I finished my current favorite manga Dorohedoro a couple months ago. I even read the first 2 deluxe volumes of Berserk and thought they were kinda meh. Hot take, but Claymore already blows those 2 deluxe volumes out of the water for me.
Im trying to contain my hype though because most of the criticism Ive seen of Claymore is about how it apparently falls off and becomes convoluted in the second half. But I did see some people say that they liked the second half/ending, so considering how much Ive enjoyed it so far I really hope im in the latter camp!
Unfortunately, while reading reviews I did get a bit spoiled, I read one that said >!"When Teresa came back at the end I almost cried"!<, so that kinda sucks but oh well
So im replaying Judgement for the first time since launch, and I read on an old reddit post that the challenges are needed to "experience the story how it actually happened".
Is this true? Or is it only needed to unlock Aftermath?
I already have Aftermath unlocked, so if I dont need to do the challenges for extra story info then Id rather not.
Also is there a dif between Classified and Declassified missions? Are they needed?
Regular RPGs have been my favorite genre since Oblivion in 2006. Ive also loved Fallout 3/NV, Skyrim, Witcher 3, Mass Effect, KOTOR, Dragon Age, KCD 1 & 2, etc and Ive never gotten bored of them.
My first CRPG was Baldurs Gate 3 a few years ago and I absolutely loved it, but I got burnt out by the beginning of act 3 and never went back.
I just gave Divinity 2 a chance. I put in 18 hours and did all the quests in Fort Joy, and then escaped the Fort, and havent touched the game in two weeks and have no desire to.
Im not sure why im like this with CRPGs. Im definitely enjoying myself while playing.
Its definitely not the combat because I really enjoy the tactical nature of it. I think maybe its the anticipation of how much more there is to do and how much longer that it will take? But this doesnt happen with other long RPGs like the Witcher 3 or KCD 2.
Does this happen to anyone else? Any tips to combat this, so I can continue enjoying CRPGs?
Finished the manga a couple months before Season 2 came out and it instantly became my favorite manga ever, and maybe my favorite piece of fiction ever too.
Since then ive tried to read other manga and none of it compares to Dorohedoro.
Tried reading Dai Dark and it just felt like an imitation of Dorohedoro; main character is obsessed with a different food item, skull face character is the comedic relief like Ebisu, wearing masks, etc.
Tried reading Berserk, enjoyed the first deluxe volume but got bored early in the Golden Age arc after >!Guts kills his step dad for selling him to that booty bandit!<
Tried reading Goodnight Pun Pun but didnt vibe with it
Tried reading Mujina Into The Deep which I liked a little more but still not that much
Tried reading Blame! but i got a bit bored because idk wtf is going on
I found a Claymore box set for cheap and I think i'll try that next but idk man, I just wish there was more Dorohedoro to consume :/ Id even take a tropey ass Dorohedoro beach day chapter/episode at this point lol
Any local bars hosting anything?
Looking at 48"/50"" size
Mainly used for gaming but also occasional Anime, Sports, Netflix.
Heard the apps can be laggy on it but I intend to use my Xbox for any streaming apps (If that makes any difference?)
So I just bought 2 on sale on Xbox for $13 and I really wanna play it rn because I have the next 4 days off work.
But I keep hearing that storywise it isnt an issue playing them out of order, but that the improvements in 2 make it hard to go back to 1.
Has anyone played in reverse order and still enjoyed 1 after 2?
(Also, I tend to be the type of person that lovessss seeing recurring characters or understanding references from prior games. Will I miss out on a lot of these if I play 2 first?)
[Disclaimer: I have 6 snakes and all are on F/T except one picky Ball Python. Ive tried all the tricks, the chicken soup trick, the hair dryer, braining it, etc. He simply only eats live, i think it must be the type of natural movement that attracts him. Ive been feeding him live and I use a super long spoon to get in between the rodents mouth and his body, and he hasnt been bit a single time yet.]
Problem: The closest reptile store with live feeders is like half an hour drive away and gas is expensive af. I have a Petco 2 blocks away (the one in San Pedro, CA if any of you work there) but ive always heard horror stories about Petco feeders.
So to those of you that work at Petco, what are the conditions really like? Ive heard sick mice will be given medicine by the vet and then thrown back in before theyre actually better, and an unknowing employee might scoop them up and sell them as feed. Ive heard mice with wounds/infections will also be quickly "treated" and then just put right back, sometimes with medicine still on their fur.
Is any of this true?
