Hello. Firstly, I want to apologize if this is a bit of a mess and all over the place, I'm not doing well currently.

I am 22F and I currently have 3 cats. Little (Female, Spayed, 3), Kiwi (Male, Neutered, 2), Teeny (Female, Spayed, 1 1/2). I am disabled and live with my mother. I currently get temporary state benefits in the amount of $440 a month while I try to get SSDI.

My mother is a hoarder. Ive known this since a young child, and one of the things she hoards is animals. It isnt an overwhelming amount, but she doesnt take care of them the way they should be taken care of because she cannot afford it.

She has a dog who is pretty aggressive, especially in his old age. He isnt a big dog by any means, and hes going completely blind (turning 18 this year), which has only made his aggression worse. He has hurt animals in the past, and so I am obviously very hesitant to let my cats out of my room into the rest of the house because of the overall condition of the house (It isnt a gross mess of trash and piles to the ceiling, but it is crowded and unorganized. Theres no risk of things falling on them, but the dogs she has arent housebroken whatsoever) and because of the aggressive dog.

Ive left the doors open a few times to allow them to venture out if they want while I stand there and supervise, because my room isnt the biggest at all and I feel horrible to keep them cooped up the way they are.

So far, only Teeny has shown a real interest in walking out of the room, and only for a bit to play with the other cats before coming back to my room and curling up to sleep.

I play with the daily, theyre up to date on shots and vet appointments, scoop their litterboxes three times a day, have a water fountain, feed them wet food, and I try to keep them as stimulated as possible.

Both Teeny and Little were rescued from another situation, and Kiwi was rehomed to me by a friend because of complications surrounding getting along with her other cats.

Im worried Im abusing them by keeping them cooped up. Im worried Im a horrible owner and they'd be better off somewhere else, but Im also selfish and adore them to pieces. My situation is abusive, my mother always have been, and theyre one of the only things keeping me going. I want to get out, its why Im fighting so hard to get on SSDI, but I know they deserve so much better than the situation Im in.

I dont know. I guess Im just in need of opinions.

Hello everyone! Im a beginner crocheter looking to hone my skills to hopefully begin making a living off of my newfound love for crafting! Im 22F and live around the MGM area and would love to hopefully crochet some stuff for people if possible!

Im open to discuss pricing and such and definitely wont be charging an arm and a leg as Im not very experienced, Im actually debating looking into doing “pay what you can” requests :)

Hello everyone. Ive been using paypal pay in 4 for years and my account has always been in good standing. I often use paypal pay in 4 for some household items from walmart delivery here and there, which has never been an issue. Last night I tried to place an order and got the following message below, and paypal pay in 4 was still an option. I figured it was a glitch and tried again today. Same error, but now paypal pay in 4 doesnt even pop up when I go to select paypal as an option at checkout.

Ive unchecked the box to remember paypal, as I do every time, and I do not have the paypal account linked to walmart. I am also over the $30 minimum to use pay in 4. Any tips?

Hi all, first post here. Ive been diagnosed with ARFID for a bit now and have run into an issue. My safe food list is pretty small, the majority of it being pizza related items but I also like things like fresh fruit, certain veggies, noodles, chili, an assortment of snacks, ect. I rotate, so its not like Im eating the same thing day after day.

For about the last two weeks, however, Ive been gagging about just the thought of food. Its rather intense too, I try to stop it but it kinda creeps up on me. I still love my safe foods, Im not sick of them in any way, so Im confused on why this is even happening.

Has anyone else dealt with something similar? Any tips?

Hello all, I am a female in my early 20's from MA and filed for Disability back in September of 2025. A denial letter just came in the mail on the 8th of this month. Ive been reaching out to attorneys but the one I was hoping for decided to not take my case because I havent been medicated for a minimum of 1 year.

To list, Ive been in and out of therapy since I was an early middleschooler and was on 3 types medication for ADHD from ages 6-12. Im currently on Zoloft(200mg once daily), Adderall(15mg twice daily), Lamotrigine(200mg once daily) and Trazadone(50mg tablets 1/2 to 1 nightly as needed). Ive previously tried Prozac as well and Latuda.

Ive been diagnosed for the following mental health disorders:

ADHD

MDD

GAD

CPTSD

BPD

and am currently on a wait list to be tested for DID.

I also have low vision in my right eye since birth.

​

I have been in therapy most recently for the past 3 years.

​

I have auditory hallucinations quite frequently, Flashbacks frequently (Im in an active abusive situation), and have severe aggression related to my BPD that has caused me to quit jobs over small things, take frequent breaks, and ruin relationships with coworkers and management at pretty much every job Ive worked at.

I get migraines from having to constantly squint to read text even with corrective lenses.

I currently get the max EAEDC from my state ($440, $220 every two weeks) but those will be cut as well if I dont file my appeal in time.

I desperately need advice from someone who has gone through something similar and possibly in the same state.

Did you get an attorney or do it alone? What forms should I request from my mental health team that could help my case (I have already submitted the requested records)? What further steps should I take for the best outcome?

Hi guys! I'm attempting to make my first tapestry ever! 50x40 with only three colors. Im planning on using worsted size 4 yarn, unfortunately no brand known since its gifted from my sister's old stash. What hook size is recommended? Any tips? I heard the carry on method is the best so you dont have to weave in ends- is that true?
