This video explains the setup and use of the Template I made for the Akai MPK Mini Plus when used with the SeqTrak. enjoy
Hello - I have been doing a lot of tutorials and walk-throughs on the Yamaha SeqTRAK, and when I do these tutorials - I use my Akai MPK Mini Plus as a controller. I built a template to allow me to more easily access many of the features on the SeqTRAK - the knobs are mapped to be useful and the pads are mapped to the 7 buttons that play the sampler sounds, or the 7 drums in one of the new drum kit tracks. You still need to manually change the channel of the Keys, and will also need to change the channel of the pads if you choose to use them as drums (the template has them mapped to the sampler). But here is the template if you want it - https://www.cap10nrg.com/downloads/MPC/MPKMiniPlus%20SeqTrakCfg.zip
To use this template - unzip and send it to the MPK Mini Plus with the MPK Mini Plus Program Editor (available from https://www.akaipro.com in the inMusic app)
I hope this helps a lot of folks out. If you guys want me to go over it in a video, or to show how I put it together let me know. I have lots of other SeqTRAK videos on my YouTube as well so... Hit me up here or there...

I have been testing this out and having some pretty cool results so I thought I would share since the number of folks who have purchased multiple SEQTraks is increasing... Here is something you can do with more than one unit! :D
