25 M waiting for a new job, bored at home feel free to dm.

Hi all, I m waiting for my new job, right now I am bored.

Feel free to dm.

Let me help you all by posting this qs,

Everyone has a moment that quietly changes them—a success, a failure, a conversation, or an experience. What's one moment that had a bigger impact on your life than most people would expect?

If we become friends, what's the first thing you'll rant about?

One message. One interesting conversation. That's the goal.

My Dms are open, I m bored.

Tell me something you've never had the chance to tell a stranger before.

My hobbies are reading international relations, politics, boxing, psychology, crime stories, and self help books.

Most people introduce themselves with their age, job, or hobbies. Instead, tell me something that reveals who you really are. A belief, a goal, a strange habit, a defining moment—anything that tells your story better than a profile ever could.

Tried affirmation visualization but only partially manifesting, need help pls read my post...

I need some guidance from people who have experience with manifestation, visualization, or related practices. If you've taken a course, worked with a coach, or have practical knowledge, I'd really appreciate your insights.

Please take a moment to read my story.

For the past several years, I've been preparing for one of the toughest competitive examinations in the world. I've consistently put in the work—often studying 10–12 hours a day with a focus on both hard work and smart preparation.

Last year, I reached the final stage of the examination process. This year, however, I seem to be falling behind despite continuing my efforts.

Alongside my preparation, I have been practicing daily meditation, affirmations, and visualization. Interestingly, these practices appeared to help me clear the first two stages of the exam last year, though I couldn't make it through the final stage.

I also used similar affirmations and visualization techniques while preparing for another competitive examination, where I eventually secured a job and even achieved one of the highest interview scores—something I had specifically visualized and affirmed.

However, my primary ambition continues to elude me. What's making this difficult is that I came very close to achieving it, and now, at 26 years old, I sometimes worry whether time is slipping away and whether this goal is moving beyond my reach.

I want to be clear that I'm not looking for shortcuts. I'm fully prepared to put in whatever effort is required. But given the extremely low success rate of this examination, I feel stuck and am looking for ways to strengthen my mindset and approach.

If anyone has experience with manifestation, visualization, mindset training, or courses such as Mindvalley (or any other genuinely useful resources), I would be grateful for your recommendations and insights.

Most importantly, I'd like to understand the proper method of visualization and manifestation—what works, what doesn't, and how to approach it realistically.

Thank you for reading, and I appreciate any guidance you can offer.

Dating app scam

I used to think dating apps were safe and I will be able to get some partners outside my circle or area.

But most of the time the girls appearing in dating apps are either sex workers or scammers.

I was on the verge of being scammed badly, thank God I escaped.

Can anyone share their experiences?

UPSC 2026 similar to UPSC 2023 prelims

Writing UPSC Prelims 2026 has left many aspirants uncertain, disappointed, and mentally exhausted. If you feel you may not clear the cutoff this time, I just want to tell you one thing first — don’t be too hard on yourself.

I want to share my own experience because I have gone through a very similar phase before.

For me, UPSC 2023 and UPSC 2026 feel very similar in one important aspect — both papers created massive uncertainty, even among serious aspirants and experienced candidates. The nature of the exam felt more unpredictable, more pressure-oriented, and less dependent on conventional preparation patterns.

Personally, I feel that UPSC is increasingly trying to reset the ecosystem — reducing overdependence on predictability, coaching trends, and even the dominance of veterans and rankers so that every attempt starts on relatively fresh ground. Whether one agrees or disagrees with that approach, aspirants are now required to adapt continuously instead of depending only on past patterns.

After my second attempt in 2023, I genuinely felt everything was over. My family situation was not financially strong, and after checking the answer key, I started looking for backup options. I even searched for IT jobs and thought about freelancing or gig work to support myself.

At that time, many people simply said, “Prepare for the next attempt.” But when uncertainty hits you financially and mentally, things are not that simple.

What helped me was balancing preparation with practical backup planning.

I started preparing for other exams with overlapping syllabi. State PCS exams were one option. Another major option was the CAPF exam because the syllabus aligns reasonably well with UPSC preparation. Compared to exams like EPFO, I personally found CAPF more doable for serious UPSC aspirants because your GS preparation already gives you a strong foundation.

People who are naturally strong in CSAT aptitude, especially advanced maths, can also seriously consider exams like SSC. That can be a very good option depending on one’s strengths.

In my case, I mostly relied on Reading Comprehension, reasoning, and basic concepts in quants rather than advanced aptitude. That is why I focused more on GS-heavy exams and Mains-oriented preparation. Since I had already prepared seriously for Mains in 2023, it helped me build analytical understanding and answer-writing ability, which later became useful in other examinations as well.

Fortunately, I secured a good rank in CAPF. That changed my mental state completely. Even though I later faced setbacks again in UPSC, having a secure backup reduced the mental pressure and fear surrounding every attempt.

So for those who are uncertain about the future: Keep trying, but also build security around your preparation. There is no shame in preparing for parallel opportunities alongside UPSC.

26 M

I know this girl from my study arena, she somehow linked to me via study group.

Right now I blocked her, but I want to understand why this girl and other girls are like this.

She has a boyfriend, she used to text me a lot, even at midnight.

Initially i refused to entertain all her texts but she was persistent she used to praise my beauty she also has large fan followers in my circle but I don't give a shot about her.

She was persistent on flirting with me and reaching out to me .

She used to talk to me for hours, during group study sessions she used to have physical contact many times.

She used to say that many girls have eyes on me.

But later on i understood it is ethically wrong to entertain her more so I blocked but still she was persistent, reached out via various other platforms.

I observed that she is a struggling person so tried to help her in academics but later on realised it is not right as she crossed the boundaries.

She used to have multiple boy best friends.

Have anyone else faced this kind of situation?

She said it's ok we can be good friends I won't cross the boundaries.

she again asks outing, What should I do ?

Cse 2026 prelims after Cse 2025 interview.

I have been in preparation for the past 6 years, i wrote two mains in my 4 attempts, and one interview in 2025 where I could not find my name in the final list.

I cleared the capf ac exam with a good rank but due to the court case training has been kept pending for all rankers.

This year's prelims didn't go well.,..

I feel like I could have skipped this year's attempt, I thought about this after my name was not in the final list in 2025.

Not only prelims even interview score is also unpredictable and felt i should prepare well in mains itself.

However now my plans are shattered.

The ones who are already in training said that preparation is really difficult during training.

I m clueless now.

I m planning to move to Delhi, and get some job to manage my expenses and prepare for mains especially essay and optional.
