I have the Zojirushi Ns TSC 10. It's been ol' reliable, but I'm contemplating upgrading to the Nw QAC10.

90% of the time, I cook simple short or medium grain white rice. Once in a while, I cook brown or Korean mixed grain. If I made the jump to the induction model, would there be a noticeable improvement in texture or anything? I appreciate a well cooked white rice, but not sure I want to spend the money right now if it's going to produce identical results. I've always thought my white rice came out fine, but the other varieties definitely had some texture issues sometimes.

The sauce is delicious! But I don't find it to be that spicy. Before buying it, I did some research about it on here, and I read comments such as:

"It will humble you."

"A little goes a long way."

"A few drops will spice up an entire pot of chilli."

Though I'm trying to build up my spice tolerance, I believe I still have a long way to go. I just made some egg salad: 2 eggs, a little Kewpie mayo, squirt of Dijon mustard and about 1 Tbsp of the Garlic Reaper. I ate the whole thing no problem with just a little throat tingle. I also regularly put it on baked chicken without much burn.

I was wondering if my heat tolerance was better than I thought, so I tried the Torchbearer Honey Badger Honey Mustard, which has scorpion pepper in it. I found that to be significantly more spicy! I was eating it with chicken tenders and I couldn't finish because the throat burn was getting too intense.

Maybe the Carolina reapers used in this particular bottle were more mild than usual? Maybe I'm affected differently depending on the type of peppers used? I will definitely buy this sauce again, but I'm curious if I can expect a more fiery experience next time.

I'm on three separate medications that may cause hyperhidrosis; one, or all 3 may be causing it. I don't particularly want to change any of them because it's the best I've felt physically and mentally for years.

I'm a full time electrician here in Hawaii. It's 80-90°F during the day all year round, with humidity that never drops below 80%. Given the work conditions, and the amount of hard manual labor; a regular person is guaranteed going to sweat.

In my situation, all of this combined is the perfect storm of extreme perspiration. Three hours into my shift, I am drenched in sweat: it literally looks like I've fallen into a body of water. I am now forced to fully change my clothes during my lunch break, and by the end of the day, I'm completely soaked all over again.

It's embarrassing sweating this much: I'm sure my coworkers notice the sweat constantly dripping from my brow. But the true problem here is because I'm an electrician; I work with electricity, and electricity and water do not get along. I'm worried that one day I will be working on a panel, my sleeves are going to be drenched from sweat, and it's going to drip onto something live: damaging the equipment I'm working on, hurting me, or both.

With that being said, what are my options to help with this absolutely insane amount of sweating? I talked to my Psychiatrist about this, and the only thing he recommended was changing my antidepressant.

I've been working in the sun plenty lately, and my half haole skin is getting crispy. Maybe the Swap Meet?

I went into a local Red Wings brand store, mostly just looking for shoe protector and cleaning products. The sales rep convinced me to do that test where you walk across that smart floor mat a few times; it reads where you put the most pressure in your foot, and I guess it also gives you a shoe size that is ideal for you.

Bro told me I'm a men's size 7; I told him I don't think that's correct. He claimed that Red Wings can fit larger feet with smaller shoes or something. He INSISTED the test is never wrong. I ignored it, bought my maintenance products and left.

I've been wearing a men's size 10 since middle school. I'm now 33: my casual shoes and work boots are usually size 11-11.5: which fit very comfortably.

Was he wrong? Or have I been wearing clown shoes my whole life?

Update: Wow! This got more attention than I expected. So, correction: he said I'm men's 7.5. My bad. I double checked my Volumental profile. I will go to a shoe store this weekend, measure my feet, and post an updated topic with a picture of my results. Till then people!

I was listening to my Black Veil Brides radio on YouTube Music, and a song started playing that literally spoke to my soul, that I never heard before.

I've been struggling with my mental health lately, and their emotional, yet angry lyrics about going through trauma got to me. I went to their artist page, played every single song they released, and I loved 98% of them. There was only a small handful I didn't care for.

I sent a link to one of their songs to a buddy of mine, and he enjoyed it too! But he text me asking if they were AI. I thought to myself: "AI? The fuck? There are AI metal bands?" I apparently couldn't even process that possibility, ignored it, and just continued to listen to them among my other artists.

Yesterday, I was listening to a radio, another song I really liked played, and I didn't recognize the artist. They sounded indistinguishable from the new band I was listening to. I went to their page and they had one song. I Googled them and found a post on this sub that they were AI slop.

I continued to read, and I learned that AI slop metal was a thing, and significantly more common than I realized. I looked up my new favorite band in that thread, and there was their name: Klosure.

Needless to say, they're no longer my favorite band; I removed every song I liked, and had YouTube Music no longer recommend any music from them (it?).

My wife uses AI almost daily for her office work; it saves her hours of tedious work and stress, so I can't say I absolutely hate the existence of AI. But making fake music is just gross. Don't make the same mistake I did!

I bought them from Marukai on several different occasions, and more times than not, the bag was invested with live bugs. I know Safeway & Times carries it sometimes, but it's usually expensive AF for a small 5lb bag. Anywhere else sell them in bags preferably 15lb+?

I can't get enough opihi; salty, oceanic goodness! I love mixing it with salmon poke. The only place I know that even sells opihi is KBay Bros in Kaneohe, but it's already mixed with ahi poke. Anywhere sell just opihi by the pound?
