Bike came with black inc sixty wheels and force axs as well as vector 3 dual power meter pedals (not pictured). Thoughts?
I'm currently studying mechanical engineering and about to start my sophomore year. The thing is after a year here I don't really like it I feel like it's not in the best area and I could've gone to better schools. I got into UF but I chose to go here instead for some reason thinking it would be better for engineering opportunities after graduation, but now I'm starting to regret the decision. Everytime I've registered for classes i've gotten stuck with the latest date possible so I've had horrible schedules and can't take the classes I want/need. I know honors students pick first but I know lots of people who aren't in honors who got to pick two weeks before. I'm sure thats not a ucf only thing but i still feel like i'm wasting my potential here when i could've gone somewhere more prestigious / better. I have full bright futures so i'd like to stay in state and i don't want to go to fsu because i need to take engineering classes at famu which leaves me with uf as my only option. i'm fairly confident i could transfer there especially since i got in before, so does anyone have experience transferring or feel the same way? thanks
Has anyone else had this problem before? I go to manually wind the watch and the whole thing vibrates because the rotor spins as well. The watch is only a couple months old so is this normal? I bought it from jomashop so I’m trying to get it repaired under warranty
Looking to drive up to Jarrod’s place from Orlando soon but I’m wondering if I should take my dirt jumper or my full suspension. My dj is 100mm travel 26 inch wheels and my mtb is 27.5 160/140 travel. The mtb is probably better but I haven’t ridden in since it’s at my mom’s place a few hours away so I’d be pretty rusty on it. It also have carbon wheels so idk about sending jumps on it whereas the dj can take more of a beating. I don’t plan on doing the absolute biggest jumps there. What do you guys thing
I’m trying to start taking my riding more seriously and wondering what’s a better purchase. I can get a computer and power meter or a kickr trainer. I generally prefer riding outside more but the area where I live isn’t super safe to ride and it’s super hot a lot of the time which makes the indoor trainer useful. What do you think?
I'm doing a mix of gravel and road cycling, but i only have one suitable bike for this and i don't want to buy two separate wheelsets or tires. Right now, I have maxxis rambler 38's on an aluminum trek checkpoint and am considering switching to gravelking slicks for faster rolling resistance. Does anyone have experience with these tires and would be able to make a proper comparison? thank you.
I bought a cartier love ring in white gold for a pretty good deal because I like the circular motifs on the ring. To me, it reminds me of screws or even the greek letter theta, which i thought was pretty cool. However, if I wear this on my right ring finger will people think I'm married? I'm only 18 and in college so I think it should be fine but wanted to ask others since I know this is typically a wedding band. Thanks
I need an additional class for the Fall 2026 semester, as I only have 10 of the 12 required credit hours to keep my scholarship. Problem is is that I'm bottlenecked by both Physics 2 and Statics, which prevent me from taking additional classes relevant to my major (mechanical engineering.) I'm also doing a math minor, which I will have most of the requirements done by the end of summer, except for a 3-4000 elective. However, most of these require Logic and Proof in Mathematics, which I am also taking in the fall. I'd like to take Real Analysis in the Spring, since it's something that interests me, but this of course requires logic and proof in mathematics. In addition to this, I have completed enough gen ed classes. This leaves me in a bit of an awkward place, as I have essentially a free opportunity to study whatever I want. Obviously I could pick something random or something that interests me personally but are there any other classes I could take that would complement my degree more? Thanks.
I'm a mechanical engineering major with a math minor looking to take summer classes. As of now, I can't take anymore engineering classes until I finish my physics 1 lab, which I was unable to get on my schedule for this past spring semester. Does anyone have experience taking both differential equations and matrix and linear algebra at the same time? From what I've heard, there's a bit of cohesion between the two subjects, so taking them at the same time can be beneficial. However, while some say both classes are fairly easy (easier than calc 2), others say they are more difficult and the first math classes they struggled with. So far I've taken calc 2 and 3 here and they were both pretty easy and didn't require a ton of time outside of class, so hopefully I can handle these. If it doesn't seem like too much, I'll probably add an additional gen ed class to get it over with. Thanks.
Trying to get these back, I landed 1 a couple years ago
I just found out I'm gonna get a B in physics 1 with calculus because I didn't go to class and participate in the I clicker questions. I don't see the point of going because I can do fine without being at the lectures and I do well on all the exams. Attendance shouldn't hurt my grade just because I know the stuff well enough to not have to drive all the way to campus for a 50 minute class. Same thing with recitation, genuinely why do i have to go to campus again just to check a box on a sheet of paper so my grade doesn't get tanked any further. As much as I dislike my materials science class, the grading policy seems much more reasonable. Wish more classes were like that, where the grade depends only on exams and a few homework assignments.
