Image 1 — I wish we got to see more of the real Byakuya when he doesn't feel bound by his status. It seems implied he's just as battle loving as Kenpachi in a more graceful way.

I feel maybe the way Byakuya acted as a teen may be a little closer to his real personality, but probably more mature now since he's older, but still relatively young by soul reaper standards.

Kakashi and Yamato vs Sasuke and Kabuto (everyone is beginning of Shippuden)

I think it's a tie like 7 times out of 10. Maybe a slight edge for Kakashi and Yamato the other 3 times.

Gaara was the first evil Naruto counterpart introduced and the best IMO. He was the antithesis to everything about Naruto more than ones like Nagato or Obito.

Naruto had everyone reason to become as bitter and evil as Gaara but got lucky because he managed to have a few people care about him, and Naruto even acknowledged that too. Them both being children of a kage of their respective villages also add to the parallels in hindsight too.

I feel that Nagato and Obito, while having tragic back stories, aren't down the same level of straight up Jinchuriki hatred Naruto and Gaara faced as kids.

What lie would Sakura, Sasuke or both cook up to tell Sarada if she ever asked how they fell in love? Ain't no way she knows the truth.

To this day as of writing, John Brown has never received a posthumous pardon. Should he have and if so, which President would've been most likely to do so?

The real tragedy of the ending is never seeing Mikami go to trial court. Feels like it would've been a trial of the century with "Kira" being on the stand.

The dialogue too. "Your honor, the defendant had a magical notebook from monsters from another world that can kill people by writing their name ." Not to mention finding unsympathetic jurors or people afraid to convict out of fear of being killed.

Does anyone feel maybe it's time for Avatar characters to take a break? 1st and 2nd image is from the JP exclusive New Mystery of the Fire Emblem in 2010 with Avatar unit debut.

They've been just about every FE game since 2010. I don't think switching it up would kill anyone.

Anyone else feel that Kubo could've channeled some Jojo energy into bleach with the characters havin stylish clothing with the poses in story?

Kubo loves fashion. The only thing he was missing was some over the top poses.

I'm against killing characters for the sake of shock value but I dislike the trope of creating suspense just to cop out multiple times. Especially in Neji's case since he didn't do anything after Sasuke Retrieval.

Naruto is obviously not the only offender. Many anime do it and I'm on the side of quit building suspension of a character death only to not do it but also not have the character be relevant in any meaningful way to the point that they might as well be dead.

Should anyone truly be surprised when they see people of power acting in a inhumane way when the concept of the Demiurge has existed for a millenia?

The concept of the Demiurge, a false god pretending to be the creator, has always existed in time in some form since the dawn of human civilization. I think the Demiurge doesn't necessarily have to be some intangible powerful being, but rather, it can be humans who have delusions of godhood and have attained so much power they fancy themselves above humans.

I think the actions of people in power, even in our current modern world, only seem bizarre without the lens of history and how people deluding themselves into thinking they are above other humans is nothing new. It only feels bizarre because we're capturing it in a modern context and not looking back at the bc era or other periods of time in past centuries.

Has anyone just given up on rural America? They choose self immolation because they like the suffering of marginalized groups.

First off, I already know that Democrats are just as responsible for rural America being in it's current state but it still doesn't change the fact thay these people have always enjoyed seeing the suffering of marginalized groups, be it black people, immigrants, LGBTQ+, etc.

I feel like I'm done trying to feel sympathy for people who voted for Trump to hurt marginalized groups, and now they're complaining because they're losing their farms and hospitals. I'm tired of them choosing to betray their interests as soon they think they might be able to get ahead and hurt other people without it affecting their lives, only for it backfire in their face. I feel so checked out those types of people ever seeing reason.

So I got into an online heated discussion with a guy who was effectively downplaying slavery and everything that happened to black people in America. All that's going through my head is that a society can't function if large numbers of people thinking like that are refusing to admit basic truths and realities.

It's makes me understand why figures like Lenin and Mao had to use re-education camps because otherwise, those types of people would be a cancer to society. Is there any solution for those types of people.
