The Megalithic Walls Even the Romans Were Afraid to Claim

I didnt know that even rome had the similar interlocking structures way older than rome.

This video investigates the enigmatic megalithic walls found in Latium, central Italy, which are constructed from massive, mortarless limestone blocks fitted with impossible precision (0:00 - 2:30). Despite often being attributed to pre-Roman groups like the Hernichi or Volsci, these builders remain largely anonymous, as their other archaeological remains fail to demonstrate such advanced masonry skills (4:33 - 6:57). The video explores potential evidence of astronomical alignments at the Alatri Acropolis (6:58 - 9:16) and a unique, ancient pointed arch at Arpino (9:17 - 11:40), ultimately highlighting that these structures mirror mysterious, similar building techniques found globally in places like Greece and Peru (11:41 - 14:03). These enduring monuments continue to defy simple historical explanation, remaining a silent, unsolved puzzle from the ancient world (14:04 - 15:40).

Why are ancient mega structures worldwide relegated to alternative history?

I honestly don't get it. There are multiple megalithic structures around the world, yet they are treated like myths. I have heard more about the relatively small Stonehenge than I have about the massive structures found elsewhere. Even if you don't believe in the flood theory or other alternative ideas, the fact that these massive structures feature similar building styles should be enough to spark large-scale investigations into a potential connection.

What are they afraid of? I seriously have no respect left for archaeologists because they ignore the most blatant, greatest mystery on Earth just to tell us about the latest Viking burial they found for the millionth time.

Are UK bus operators actually required to install full air conditioning yet? Every bus feels like an oven right now

Amid severe summer heatwaves, the lack of mandatory AC has become a safety crisis.

Former employees turned business owners, what was the hardest "mindset shift" you had to make?

I’ve been thinking a lot about the mental gap between working a 9-to-5 and working for yourself (trading certainty for freedom, changing how you view risk, etc.).

For those who actually made the jump, what was the hardest habit or belief you had to unlearn from your employee days to find success?

What movies have good CGI de-aging flash backs?

To me, the absolute best example of digital de-aging has to be Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Lucasfilm nailed it by using actual archive footage.

On the flip side, the worst has to be Robert De Niro in The Irishman. Even though his face looked smoother, the illusion completely broke because he still moved like a 76-year-old man (the grocery store scene comes to mind).

I think it works well in flashbacks( better than a younger actor who looks nothing like them) but not so much in a whole movie like Gemini Man with Will Smith

Who has done de-aging the best, and who did it the worst?

Why are there not more? What ones would you like to see?

I cant watch TV Shows any more its just mostly filler?

Filler, filler, something little, and then a cliffhanger for the next episode.

The finale isn't finalized because if it makes money, another season might be needed. Plus, streaming has made it worse by demanding even more content

Why does the US seem to have a high rate of life insurance related homicides?

Is the US life insurance system uniquely vulnerable to fraud/murder plots, or does it just seem that way because of the sheer volume of American true crime media? What regulations (or lack thereof) exist to stop people from taking out policies on others?

How do i get my kitten to be in the smae room as me?

So, I got a kitten. The absolute second I opened his carrier last week, he vanished into thin air. Turns out he instantly located the most unreachable spot in the apartment: behind the bathroom sink piping.

At this point, his name is Ghost for obvious reasons. He’s totally fine,he comes out like a little night-phantom to eat, drink, and use the litter box while I’m asleep, but he refuses to exist during daylight hours.

I want him to know he's safe and actually be part of the family, but I can't even get near him. What’s the best way to handle this? Do I stick him in a smaller room once I finally catch him out

Ways to gamify or add purpose to a daily walking routine?

Trying to build a consistent walking habit, but I struggle with the lack of "purpose" when just wandering around the neighborhood. For those who walk daily, how do you keep it engaging? Do you listen to specific podcasts, use apps (like Pokémon Go or Geocaching), or set weird micro-goals for yourself?

Is it just me or are country lanes the most dangerous thing on UK roads?

Had a drive out through the countryside today and I’m convinced the 60mph limit on those tiny lanes is a sick joke. You’re navigating a road barely wide enough for a bicycle, dodging potholes the size of craters, and then a Land Rover appears out of a hedge doing 50mph coming the other way. I feel like my blood pressure goes up 40 points the moment the streetlights end. Is it just me, or are these the most dangerous stretches of tarmac in Britain?

Find constant texting exhausting. How do I slow things down without losing her interest?

I guess I'm old fashioned because I find constant texting exhausting. Plus, I'm honestly sick of telling my whole life story over and over again.

I’m ruining a lot of good opportunities by doing all the groundwork and then burning out right before "closing the deal" (for lack of a better phrase)—basically, actually meeting up. I just need a halftime break without coming across as ghosting, which seems to be the biggest sin in online dating (apart from getting sexual too early).

I need some advice on how to manage this. And please, I know I’m going to get replies saying, "Well, if it’s so exhausting, then she isn't the one," or something like that. That's not the issue here. I just need practical tips on how to pace things.

in Short: Burning out right before the first date: How do you pace the texting phase?

How do you snap out of the post active day zombie mode?

Does anyone else experience extreme whiplash between their "good" days and "bad" days?

On Monday, I am an absolute powerhouse. I wake up early, crush my entire to-do list, reply to every email, clean the house, and feel like I finally have my life completely together. I go to sleep feeling unstoppable.

Then Tuesday hits, and it’s like my brain completely shuts down. I spend the entire day paralyzed in bed, staring at the TV, and mindlessly cycling through the same three browser tabs for hours. I have zero motivation to do anything, yet I can't even enjoy the rest because of the crushing guilt.

It feels like my energy levels are either at 100% or 0%, with absolutely no healthy middle ground. How do you break out of this cycle and find actual consistency?
