Tangy and creamy. Not bad at all.

My bff said she was craving Italian! Noodles it is! Stir fried ramen noodles using the packet as seasoning and adding chicken, chopped green cabbage and peppers. It’s a masterpiece as I’m only one glass of wine in. :)

They do not have a store front. They have a website, IG and Facebook for ordering. They deliver in Vegas and California. The donuts were really fresh and tasty!

Open a jar. Pour on the sauce. Add jalapeños. Enjoy. TIP: Don’t heat it up, best right out of the jar at room temp. Now you know.

The city of Dortmund, right in the middle of Nordrhein-Westfalen, has a yearly festival commemorating a 1378 victory that saved the city in which this stew played an important role. The Pfefferpotthastfest is celebrated every fall with the main food being, naturally, this stew.

"Peppered" here means "spiced," and that describes this Westphalian dish perfectly. Traditionally, the tender chunks of beef, braised in a rich, dark gravy, were served with boiled potatoes, gherkins and red beets. However, dumplings, Spätzle or rice would be wonderful sides for this. Include a veggie, such as Blumenkohl mit Semmelbrösel, and you have a feast!

Screw the plate. This was handy. 😂 Mayo, Hot Sauce, Dill Relish…done.

With the addition of my sautéed broccoli, this was ok. The sauce flavor was good. The meat was so so. Overall 8/10.

She didn’t question the raw mushroom but did say the hamburger was a bit dry. The egg was flipped out of the pan…oops. She ate it all! Early weekend get together. She’s scared of what I’ll be making tomorrow. 😂

Red Baron cheese pizza. I added more mozzarella and some green chile I had left over. Cooked extra crispy cuz I was enjoying my wine. 🍷

I thought I was the only one. Spotted 5 nice pieces in the fridge this afternoon. But I think it was leftover from some pork dish my bff was cooking. Leftover you say?! I asked if I could eat it. She said knock yourself out. Yipee! No saved bacon!

But I’m too toasted to make the pasta. So tomorrow will have to do. 😂

It’s a meal that our family loves. Pork chop cooked with bacon fat and served with pan gravy sauce. Seasoned with salt, black pepper and paprika.

Potatoes boiled with skins on, peeled and fried in bacon fat and minced onions. Served with sautéed buttered asparagus. Simple meal.
