Just finished Pandora Tomorrow for the first time - my thoughts

So I played SP1 a bit after it came out, I had to have been 7 maybe 8 years old when I played it. 2003ish

Absolutely loved that game but being a kid I didn't pay much attention to other things in the gaming world obviously, so I completely missed the fact that PT had been released, then at some point I got Chaos Theory and for some reason I had it in my mind that it was the 2nd game...so anyway I never played PT.

Just completed it for the first time and honestly it was great.

I really loved the laser on the pistol - the fact that it makes up for the (still) incredibly bad accuracy of the pistol, the fact that enemies will get startled if you flash them in the eyes with it or they spot it on a wall, loved that. Honestly I'd be hard pressed not to trade the EMP function of the CT pistol for the PT laser....

Loved the missions, I thought some of them were very creative.

In the cryogenics lab, is it possible to kill the guards after taking the wounded guard's cell phone without blowing up the wounded guard too?? Seems like an odd plot choice if not.

I liked the train mission but felt it had untapped potential, wish it could have been more involved.

I liked the submarine mission, whenever I see submarines it always reminds me of the submarine mission from Medal of Honor: Frontline haha

I liked the TV station mission, I definitely struggled with taking down Sadano without killing him/being killed by his guards first but finally got it after several tries...

I really liked the plotline of releasing smallpox and the LAX mission was pretty great - the idea of the enemies all having higher body temperatures because they just got the smallpox vaccine is genius.

Overall I would put this in 3rd place.

I think Chaos Theory is #1, SP1 is #2, and PT is #3 for me....I don't care much for the later games honestly, I'd have been satisfied with this being a trilogy - much to the same tune as Halo.

Steering is backwards in reverse!

This has messed me up so many times lol

When you reverse with the wheel turned to the left, you expect the front end to swing to the right like it would in a car, but ALAS it is backwards and suddenly im trying to swing the wrong direction in a battle, usually immediately presenting my reactor for the enemy to hit with ease....

Would love an option to change that setting!!!!

Lost everything?

Downloaded the game last night and played until 1am, logged on this morning and it wants me to make a new character…weird but okay, I get to the main menu and everything is gone. Fresh start….has this happened to anyone else??

Do you need to destroy the doors before boarding?

This might be a silly question but I've just downloaded the game and played a few rounds, it's quite fun but I noticed if I climb up the ladder to board someone, the door is closed and only opens if they open it (and then blast me with a shotgun) - is that always the case? I'm assuming I'd need to blow the door up with my turrets and then I'd be able to board freely?
