Ever since I went to pripyat the game constantly crashes and it's random like, I talk to an NPC? crash I try to teleport? crash sometimes if I eat more than 1 bread it also crashes

I really like what they did with stealth where there is a detection meter and the more you kill civilians/cops or don't answer pagers (yes not answering pagers doesn't set off the alarm) the more the meter fills and the faster they spot you, what do you guys think of loud

I am still very new to SFX makeup and trying to understand materials before I waste money again.

I started learning wounds and small prosthetics recently. Mostly cuts, burns, and skin texture practice at home. I keep seeing people talk about latex rubber like it is the standard beginner material, but I am honestly confused when it actually works best.

I bought a cheap bottle before and my results were mixed. Sometimes it blends nicely into skin, other times it peels weird or cracks when I move my face. I don’t know if that means bad technique or just low quality latex.

I also noticed many beginner kits online look identical. Some people told me a lot of those kits come from Alibaba suppliers and just get rebranded. That made sense because two different brands I tried smelled exactly the same and behaved the same too. One worked fine for practice, the other felt almost unusable.

So I guess my questions are:

Is latex rubber still worth learning first before moving to silicone?

How do you know if the latex itself is good quality or just bulk product?

Also how do you stop edges from lifting after a few hours? Mine always start perfect then slowly betray me.

I'm working on a small mobile robot platform. Target weight around 2kg. Two-wheel differential drive. I need some decent torque for climbing small ramps but size is a constraint.

Been looking at miniature motors - AC, DC options but I'm getting lost in the specs. Coreless DC seems obvious for low inertia but I'm worried about thermal performance under sustained load. I see some sellers on Alibaba listing tiny brushed motors with high kV ratings but no torque curves or thermal data. That's a big red flag.

What do people actually use for this scale? I need something with integrated encoders preferably. Quadrature or hall effect. I've looked at Faulhaber and Maxon but those are outside my budget for a prototype.

Are the generic 12V planetary gearmotors from Pololu worth considering? I'm seeing 30:1 ratios with about 15 kg-cm stall torque. That's probably enough. But I'm not sure about the encoder resolution. I need decent odometry for dead reckoning.

Also what's the consensus on BLDC versus brushed for this scale? The drive complexity is higher with BLDC but efficiency is better. My power budget is tight. Running off 3S LiFePO4.

Any recommendations on specific part numbers or suppliers that actually provide real spec sheets? Not interested in mystery motors.
