Passport application issue: grandmother’s father’s name mismatch

I’m trying to get a passport for my cousin’s grandmother, and we ran into an issue at the Passport Office.

For example, her father’s actual full name was Raj Kapoor, but unfortunately, none of his documents are available anymore.

In all of her existing documents, including Aadhaar and PAN, her father’s name is mentioned only as “Raj.” However, while filling out the passport application, we entered his full name as “Raj Kapoor.”

The officer noticed the mismatch and told us to get the name corrected in Aadhaar/PAN before proceeding. They have extended the application timeline for now.

The problem is that we don’t have any documents belonging to her father, so we don't know how we can prove the surname or get it corrected.

What would be the best way to handle this?

Can we ask the Passport Office to accept “Raj” since that is what appears consistently in her existing documents?

Is there any alternative document or declaration that can be used when the father’s documents are unavailable?

Should we withdraw/reapply with “Raj” instead?

Has anyone faced a similar situation with Passport Seva?

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with something similar. 🙏

Isn't it dark practice Or just an ai typo

Was scrolling through Zomato today and came across this on a famous restaurant's Chicken Dum Biryani listing.

The description contains text that shouldn't be there at all.

Considering many people avoid certain ingredients for personal, cultural, or other reasons, this kind of mistake can be a huge issue.

Is this just another AI-generated description that no one bothered to review, or could it be a misleading practice by the restaurant or platform?

Either way, it doesn't inspire much confidence. If menu descriptions can't be trusted, what's the point of having them?

An Accidental Message About Her Newborn Led to an Unexpected Act of Kindness

In 2016, a grandmother accidentally sent family updates about her grandson's birth to the wrong phone number. Instead of ignoring the messages, brothers Deorick and Dennis Williams replied with congratulations and jokingly said they'd stop by to meet the baby.

To everyone's surprise, they actually showed up at the hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia, carrying gifts including diapers, bottles, and pacifiers for the newborn, Cason Lashley. The heartwarming photo of the strangers posing with the new parents went viral, turning a simple texting mistake into one of the internet's most wholesome stories.

A MAN WHO CREATED YOUTUBE CHANNEL TO HELP KIDS WITHOUT DADS!!!!🙂🙂

When Rob Kenney was 14 years old, he and his siblings were left without parental support. After being taken in by his older brother, Kenney grew up carrying a simple goal: to provide the kind of guidance that many young people never receive.

That mission eventually led him to create Dad, How Do I?, a YouTube channel dedicated to teaching everyday life skills. His videos cover practical topics such as shaving, tying a tie, unclogging drains, changing a tire, and handling basic home repairs. What began as a collection of tutorials quickly resonated with millions of viewers, many of whom were looking for more than instructions— they were looking for encouragement, reassurance, and someone willing to patiently explain the things others take for granted.

The channel's success stems from its simplicity. Kenney never positioned himself as an expert or celebrity. He simply became a reliable source of guidance for people who needed it, turning a difficult chapter of his own life into something that has helped countless others navigate theirs.

Ordered Domino's through Zomato and had a weird experience that has happened SIX times now.

The delivery guy (he said he was directly from Domino's) arrived and before handing over my order, he told me to rate the restaurant 5 stars immediately. I asked him, "How am I supposed to rate the food without even tasting it or checking the condition of the order?"

He said he was just doing his job and that Domino's had given strict instructions. According to him, if customers don't give a 5-star rating, he can get fined or face consequences. He even requested that I don't complain because he might lose his job.

What bothered me wasn't the delivery guy, because he seemed genuinely worried, but the fact that I was basically being asked to give a perfect rating before even receiving the food. A rating is supposed to reflect the actual experience, right?

And the craziest part is that this wasn't a one-time thing. This has happened to me six times with Domino's orders.
