I went to the vet recently and my dog was diagnosed as fat.
The food I was giving him (Open Farm) was too calorie dense and even though I was feeding him one less cup than the bag says per day it was still over his expected calorie count per day.
I also got in the habit of feeding him a small No Hide bone as his nightly treat and those are also high calorie.
What treats / food / chewy bone things do y’all recommend that are low calorie or healthy for a chunky dood?

A dog is tied up by the stairs, we've let the park folks know but not sure what else to do. Anyone recognize the dog? No collar or anything
UPDATE: the NYC Park Rangers took the dog to Queens ACC, I will update here with more details on how to adopt if anyone is able once we have more info
