What's one manhwa that was so heartbreaking/traumatizing you wish you never read it?

Genuinely curious because I need to know I'm not the only one 😭

What's one manhwa you read that messed you up so badly that, looking back, you're like "I genuinely wish I had never opened this."

Not necessarily because it was bad it could be really well-written but because the story, characters, ending, or just certain scenes stayed in your head way longer than they should have.

For me, there's a difference between a manhwa that makes you cry and one that makes you just sit there staring at your screen after finishing a chapter like "...what the fuck did I just read."

So yeah, what's that manhwa for you? And please tell me why without spoiling it too much 😭

Has anyone read Seasons of Lovesome?

I know Seasons of Lovesome is a sequel to Seasons of Blossom, but I never got around to reading it. I’m thinking of starting it now, so I wanted to ask people who are currently reading it or have finished it how is it?

Is it more of a continuation of the stories/characters from Seasons of Blossom, or does it mostly introduce new couples and their own stories? And do you need to remember everything from Seasons of Blossom to understand it properly?

Also, how does it compare to the original? Is it worth reading if I really liked Seasons of Blossom?

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially without major spoilers!🫣

Did Bhishma actually love the Kauravas as much as he loved the Pandavas?

I've always been a little confused about Bhishma's relationship with the two sides.

He clearly cared about the Pandavas and seems to have had a lot of affection for them, but the Kauravas were also his grandsons and he spent years raising them.

So how did he actually feel about Duryodhana and the other Kauravas personally?

Did Bhishma genuinely love them but disagree with their actions, or was he emotionally closer to the Pandavas?

I'm asking specifically about his personal feelings, not who he thought was right during the war.

Honestly, I didn’t expect to get this invested in Hastinapur Ke Veer 😭

Okay so I’ll be honest, I was VERY hesitant to start Hastinapur Ke Veer.

The promos were everywhere and after seeing Sony SAB promoting it so much, I initially thought it would be one of those shows that looks good in the promo but becomes boring after 10 episodes. Also, another Mahabharat adaptation? I wasn't exactly rushing to watch it.

But I finally gave it a try a few days ago and somehow ended up binging every episode available till date πŸ’€

And I actually really like it.

What surprised me the most is that the show isn't rushing towards the big Mahabharat events. It's spending time on the childhood and upbringing of the Pandavas and Kauravas, their relationships with each other, their personalities and the people influencing them. That part is probably what has hooked me.

The Pandavas are actually pretty well differentiated. Yudhishthir has that calm, responsible personality, Bheem is obviously more impulsive and aggressive, Arjun is shown as extremely focused and curious, while Nakul and Sahadev don't just feel like two characters who are there because they're "the other two Pandavas". I especially like seeing the five brothers together.

And then there's Duryodhan.

I wasn't expecting to be this interested in his character this early. The whole contrast between the Pandavas' upbringing and Duryodhan's mentality is probably going to become one of the most interesting parts of the show.

The Kaurava side in general is interesting too. Dushasan, Dushala, Yuyutsu etc. actually feel like characters rather than just names from a textbook.

And the adults are probably the strongest part of the cast for me.

Bhishma has such a presence. Manish Wadhwa really fits the role. Whenever he's on screen it actually feels like there's someone carrying the weight of Hastinapur on his shoulders.

Kunti is another one I'm really liking. Toral Rasputra was probably one of the casting choices that initially made me curious, and she's doing a good job. Kunti's relationship with the Pandavas is getting enough attention without making every scene overly dramatic.

Gandhari and Dhritarashtra are also interesting because you can already see the complicated family dynamics developing.

And honestly, Shakuni is exactly the kind of character I'm waiting to see more of. Chandan Anand has that creepy-but-calculated quality where you know he's thinking three steps ahead even when he's barely saying anything 😭

Then there's Dronacharya, and I like that the show is actually showing his role in shaping both groups rather than just bringing him in when the famous training sequences happen.

The biggest positive for me though is the brother dynamics.

There are so many scenes where the Pandavas just behave like actual brothers teasing, fighting, protecting each other, getting jealous, competing etc. Same with the Kauravas. Those smaller interactions make the characters much easier to get attached to.

Obviously, it's not perfect.

Some scenes are definitely a little too dramatic and there are moments where the background music is doing WAY more work than necessary πŸ˜‚. And because we already know where all these characters eventually end up, sometimes you're sitting there thinking "bro... you have NO idea what's coming."

But that's also what makes it interesting.

I'm genuinely curious to see how these relationships slowly turn into the conflicts we already know about.

Also, I think the young cast deserves credit. They're carrying a pretty difficult story because everyone already has an established image of these characters in their heads. So far I think most of them are doing surprisingly well.

Anyway, I went in expecting to watch maybe 2-3 episodes and decide whether it was worth it.

Instead I watched everything till date.

So yeah, consider me invested now. πŸ’€

Would actually like to know what everyone else here thinks though. Are you guys watching it regularly or did you drop it after the initial episodes?

My current rating: 8/10.

Not because it's some flawless masterpiece, but because I'm genuinely looking forward to the next episode, which is more than I expected when I started.

What's your "I will never shut up about this OI" recommendation?

We all have that one series we somehow end up recommending every chance we get.

The one where you immediately think, "Oh, you haven't read this yet?"

I want to know which series that is for you and more importantly, why.

Feel free to gush. Long comments are encouraged. I'm stealing everyone's reading list. πŸ˜‚

Favourite CORTIS airport photos so far?🫣 Drop them

Now that we've had a few airport appearances since debut, I'm curious what everyone's favourite airport photos are.

Could be because of the outfit, hairstyle, aura, or just a picture where they looked ridiculously good for no reason. Group shots count too.

Drop your favourite photos (or links if you have them) and tell me whose airport look has been your favourite so far. Mine changes every time new pictures come out 😭

What's the hardest airport paparazzi photo of an idol you've ever seen? Drop them 😭

I was scrolling through some old airport pics today and realised some idols genuinely have airport photos that look like luxury campaign shoots instead of random paparazzi pictures.

Not talking about official press photos or fansite edits, just those candid airport clicks where they somehow look unreal. Sometimes the lighting, outfit, expression and timing all come together and the photo ends up being iconic.

I'm curious what everyone's picks are. Can be male or female idols, any generation.

Drop your favourite airport paparazzi photos (or links if you can't upload them) because I know there are so many legendary ones I've probably forgotten.

Anyone else in a horrible reading slump? 😭 What webtoons have you been obsessed with recently?

I think I've hit the worst reading slump I've had in ages.

I open Webtoon, stare at my subscribed list for five minutes, close the app... then repeat the cycle later. πŸ˜…

Nothing's grabbing me and it's driving me insane because I know there are probably so many amazing series I'm missing.

So tell me:

- What are you currently completely hooked on?

- Which series made you binge until 3 a.m.?

- Any hidden gems you wish more people talked about?

- Ongoing or completed I'm happy with either.

Genre honestly doesn't matter at this point. Romance, thriller, horror, fantasy, drama, mystery, action... if it had you thinking "just one more chapter" and suddenly it was sunrise, I want to hear about it.

Please help me escape this reading slump. πŸ™ And if anyone else is in the same boat, hopefully this thread becomes a goldmine of recommendations for all of us.

What's the best romance manhwa you've ever read, and why does it deserve that spot?

I'm curious what romance manhwa has stayed with you long after you finished it.

Not necessarily the most popular one, but the one that, in your opinion, just did everything right story, romance, character development, chemistry, pacing, art... the whole package.

What made it stand out from every other romance manhwa you've read?

Was it the emotional impact , the writing, the slow burn, the character growth, the ending? Or was it one of those rare stories where everything just clicked?

I'd love to hear why it's your #1 instead of just the title. Maybe it'll convince someone (including me) to finally pick it up.

Looking forward to seeing which manhwa gets mentioned the most πŸ‘€

What's that one line a character said that hit you like an absolute truck? πŸ’”

Not the most famous quote. Not necessarily the saddest one either.

I mean the line that made you pause, stare at the screen for a second, and think, "...damn."

The kind of quote that lives rent-free in your head months (or even years) later because it captured something you couldn't put into words yourself.

It can be heartbreaking, comforting, terrifying, or painfully honest. Whether it's from a main character, a side character, or even a villain I want to hear it.

Drop the quote, the series it's from, and (if needed) a spoiler tag for any major context. I'm ready to get emotionally wrecked all over again. πŸ₯²πŸ“–

What's the most emotionally heavy Webtoon you've ever read? πŸ₯€

I'm not talking about a series that's just sad. I mean the kind of Webtoon that genuinely stayed with you long after you finished reading it.

Maybe it tackled grief, trauma, mental health, loneliness, abuse, guilt, or simply portrayed human emotions so realistically that it left you sitting in silence for a while. Maybe a particular chapter had you staring at your screen, or a character's journey hit a little too close to home. πŸ’”

I'm always looking for stories that leave a lasting impactβ€”not just because they're heartbreaking, but because they're beautifully written and make you feel something.

So, what's the most emotionally heavy Webtoon you've ever read, and what made it affect you so much? I'd love to hear your thoughts and maybe discover a few hidden gems along the way. ❀️

Please keep spoilers to a minimum or use spoiler tags so everyone can enjoy the recommendations! πŸ™

Looking for action manhwa where the MC gets revenge after being seriously wronged πŸ‘€

I've been in the mood for a really good action manhwa where the MC isn't chasing revenge over something petty, but because they were genuinely betrayed, bullied, framed, or had their life completely ruined. I want the revenge to actually feel satisfying and earned.

I'd also love it if it has solid friendships or a group that sticks together instead of everyone revolving around the MC.

A school setting would be a huge bonus since I really enjoy delinquent, bullying, or gang-related stories, but it's not a requirement if the story is that good. What I really want are memorable arcs that keep raising the stakes and make it impossible to stop reading.😌

I'm completely fine with popular recommendations too since there's a good chance I haven't read them yet. Just hit me with the action manhwa that had you hooked from start to finish or made you think, "Yeah, this is exactly how a revenge story should be done."🫣

What's one manhwa you'd recommend to literally anyone without hesitation?

I've been looking through my TBR and realized I'm probably missing a lot of amazing series, so I figured I'd ask the people with the best recommendations. 😭

Tell me the one manhwa you think everyone should read at least once. I don't care if it's ongoing, completed, or on hiatus. Popular, underrated, old, new... anything goes.

The only thing I ask is that you tell me why you recommend it. Was it the story, the characters, the romance, the world-building, the art, the emotional damage, or just the fact that you couldn't stop reading once you started?

I'm also curious what's currently sitting on your TBR. Are there any series you've been meaning to start forever but just haven't gotten around to yet?😏

I'm in the mood to add way too many tabs to my browser, so give me your absolute favorites the ones that made you wish you could read them again for the first time.🀩

What's the one Webtoon you're completely addicted to right now? Mine has me checking for updates like a maniac 😭

For me, it's Daytime in the bunker 🫠 , The scandal Maker , Behind her Highness Smile , Fox club ( I'm reading it from the beginning idk when the hell it's coming back 😭 , Same with Serena )

I genuinely didn't expect to get this invested, but now I'm at the point where I open Webtoon every time I remember it's update day. The characters somehow ended up living rent-free in my head, and every chapter either leaves me smiling like an idiot or staring at the ceiling questioning my life.

I'm curious if anyone else has a series that's doing this to them right now. Not necessarily the "best" Webtoon ever just the one you can't stop thinking about.

I could really use some new series to obsess over while waiting for the next update. What's yours, and what makes it so hard to put down? (No major spoilers, please!)

I could genuinely never stop talking about Ticket to Heaven... β™₯️

Well... this is my second post about this series on this sub. 😭 The first one was after episode 4 because I couldn't stop thinking about it, and now that I've finished all 6 episodes, I somehow have even more to say.

Honestly, what an incredible journey 🫠

It's been a long time since a series has stayed on my mind like this. Usually, once I finish a show, I move on after a day or two. But Ticket to Heaven is different. Even after the finale, I keep remembering conversations, little expressions, quiet moments, and scenes that completely broke me.

What makes this series stand out for me is that nothing feels accidental. Every frame looks beautiful, the soundtrack always knows exactly when to step in, and the performances never once feel exaggerated. Everything feels genuine, and because of that, every emotion lands exactly the way it's supposed to.

Gemini and Fourth absolutely amazed me 😩. I've always loved watching them together, but this series brought out something new in both of them. There was so much honesty and vulnerability in their performances that it never felt like I was watching actors it felt like I was watching two people trying to find their way through everything life was throwing at them.

Another thing I really appreciated was how respectfully the series approached religion and faith. I'm not from that faith myself, but I loved getting to understand parts of it through this story. It never came across as preachy or sensationalized. Instead, it treated those beliefs with kindness and sincerity, which made the whole experience feel even more meaningful.

This show had me feeling every possible emotion. One moment I was smiling like an idiot, the next I was trying not to cry, and then there were scenes where I just sat there in silence after the credits rolled because I needed time to process everything.

The writing deserves so much credit too. Every character felt like a real person with their own struggles, and every conflict had weight behind it. Nothing felt there just for drama it all served the story, and that's something I really appreciated.

After episode 4, I remember saying that if the last two episodes could maintain the same level of quality, this might become one of my favourite series ever.

Now that it's over, I can confidently say it did exactly that.😌

For me, Ticket to Heaven wasn't just another BL. It was a story about love, faith, family, hope, and finding yourself, and it handled all of those themes so beautifully.

I genuinely don't think I'll ever get tired of talking about this series. What a beautiful, emotional, unforgettable journey.

Thank you to everyone who brought this story and bringing Barth and Tanrak to life. ❀️πŸ₯Ή
