Should I stick to one niche?

Hello everyone:)!!

So I recently had a YouTube channel that did pretty well considering it was my first real channel. However, I decided not to continue it because I feel like it had no sense of direction, however, since I've recently gotten to trying to form my own band, I wanted to start posting my guitar content (which I believe could help in the future if I ever wanted to become a guitarist for another band and for my personal enjoyment most importantly) and my outfits since I really enjoy my sense of style And I would like to share that with others similar to how I did with my previous channel and I was thinking of doing it in a way that my outfits could be relatable content that ties back to my guitar content or it's just my outfits in general HOWEVER

My problem is usually the advice I get from most influencers is to only stick to one Niche and In my case I would have two different but kind of similar niches. I would try to tie them back into each other since the music I play is mostly alternative and indie which would correlate to my outfits that mainly are alternative. So should I just stick with one niche or should I just do both?

Should we start a social media?

Hello so currently I'm in the process of forming a hobby band just for fun so I can gain experience If I ever choose to want to pursue a music career. And I plan to want to keep this band together until the end of my senior year (currently I'm a junior) so pretty much until the end of high school. I've noticed that a lot of the kids at my school that have bands also have social media to help better push their music. And if I'm thinking on doing this band for fun, would it hurt to start a social media account or would that be doing too much considering I only plan to start this for fun?

Helloo I'm a junior in high school and I want to start a band (genre: alt rock, post hardcore, etc) However, I'm not sure how I can advertise to find new members. The kids in my school that are pretty decent with instruments already have their own bands or are busy with marching band and stuff. All the local shows that happen in my state are an hour away. I had the idea of posting up flyers but I'm not sure where is a good idea. I live in the suburbs with a couple music stores so I was thinking that. I'm an intermediate guitarist and I figured playing with people better than me will help me to become a better guitarist. Any advice on how I could start would be greatly appreciated!!

So currently I am an intermediate guitarist (and aspiring vocalist) and a junior in highschool. Since I was younger it's always been my dream to be in a band and since my toxic ex friends have a band I thought it'd be nice to form my own and set goals to surpass them (although not the main goal it's been a good motivator to keep me practicing). I currently have the idea of putting flyers around my neighborhood and areas focused on music (guitar centers, etc..) I live in the suburbs with a few school bands here and there but nothing much in the alt scene. Any advice to help build up/starting a band would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello!! I've posted on Reddit a couple times but my question's going to be really silly but I'm going to ask it anyway. So if I post alternative out content could I potentially go on to discord servers (where I'd be allowed to promote ofc) that match up with my niche to be able to grow a community there and lead it back to my channel organically would this be wrong to do? I have pretty decent stats and I started almost a year ago and currently I have 298 subscribers with 565k total views However, I've been looking to grow my account
