Tiling my porch, how to start

Sorry for the lack of pictures it’s just what I have saved. So I’m going to tile my porch with ceramic tiles what are 600x300 and my porch is 2.5m x 1.8m. I want to do it in a brick pattern style because they are rectangular. Where am I best starting? In the middle and working my way out? Or top to bottom or reversed?

Playtime hours when travelling abroad in sleep mode

Took my SD on holiday with me to use on the plane. Kept it on sleep mode the whole time I was away but charged it up before I returned home, turned it back on when I got home to see my playtime hours shoot up from 6 hours before I left to 783.

Ticking films off my list

Long story short, bought a house. Finally have my own living room to watch films on a big ass TV so I’m ticking off films I have never seen before and have been recommended to me to watch. Here is my list incase anyone cares.

[TP] First time playing TP!

Posted this earlier but it got removed. Playing TP on my steam deck and two people suggested I try out dusklight and thank you very much! It’s great. Is there any other tips or tricks anyone would recommend?

What two games are you currently playing?

I have a bad habit of starting a game, putting it down and starting another. So I’ve got these two games I’m rotating between depending what mood I’m in. I guess the tone of each game is kinda different. Does anyone else have this bad habit?

Ford app, adding service

Purchased a Ford focus 2023 plate a few days ago and done my first service on it (by a vat registered garage) and I can’t seem to find any option to add my service onto the my history using the app, or browser in my phone?

Gwg b1000 strap irritation

Has anyone else had problem with the strap and pinching the skin and latching by onto arm hairs on the wrist? Constantly finding hairs being pulled off when I adjust the watch. I have skinny wrists so I’m only about 5 holes from the start of the strap and I can’t get it to fit perfect either. Tried to change the strap from my GPR h1000 but it doesn’t fit.

Starting with metal gear rising

29 years old, owned every PlayStation since I was around 4/5, but being a young lad the gameplay just never appealed to me on the PS1 so just never got round to ever playing any of the MSG games. Seen a few videos of gameplay of MGR and it reminded me of Devil May cry so I thought I’d give it a try on my Steam deck! Looking forward to jumping in and seeing how it plays.

What to upgrade next?

Just asking everyone’s expert opinion on what to upgrade next and what is becoming outdated. I’m nearly 30 and not spending nearly as much time on my pc as Id like too with just life getting in the way, but would like to upgrade something (if I need too) because I still love upgrading and messing about my pc. Adding a 2ssd

So I already have an existing Samsung 860 evo ssd in my pc way back from when I built it back in 2020. I want to add another ssd which will be Samsung 990 evo plus, but it will be going into a pcle slot, my original is connected through a sata port. Is adding the second ssd just as straight up and easy as it sounds? It can be a second ssd with no issues? I’ve also been using a 2tb hdd which I’ve had for like 4 years but my friend said I should not be putting my big power sucking games on that, which I have been doing.

Construction worker, self employed/cis. Where to start?

As the title says I’ve been in construction/railway industry since I was 19, I’ve just turned 29 and never had a pension. I’ve just bought my first house a few months with my partner and it’s just starting to play in my mind about having no pension, considering my partners pension sounds really good. Where do I start and what is considering a good % of my wage to put in? I know it comes to down to what I earn I’d just like to know what’s the average % of a weekly/monthly wage.
