My dear juniors pls think twice before taking any hard decision 🙏

It's official and confirmed ..a second year student from Malaviya Bhavan ,hyd campus has been committed su*cide today ...she jumped from 7th floor of non teaching staff quarters 🙏 man I can't imagine the pain she gone for the initial minutes..pls don't take this type of decisions..now currently inquiry is going and guess what this happened early morning and no one could identify her body until her friend comes to medical centre and complains about missing...if you get these types of thoughts pls immediately talk to seniors/best friends or the one who feel comfortable.

For All Eapcet College Lovers

Try For BITSAT, comedk etc man eapcet Colleges ain't worth it.... Even the fees low why iam saying is you can ask seniors of cbit, VNR .. from what I have heard from juniors nearly only 70% got placed in these colleges and only handful of people got 10lpa+ .. meru higher studies Veldam Anukuna set avadu because the faculties, labs you get in these colleges is 3rd class .. asal meku telusa none of the eapcet colleges lo asal research eh jarugadu except OU,HCU. Saying this all from experience and I have seen this since years .. I graduated from a core branch in bits pilani ..and when I joined there were friends in cbit,VNR...they are still stuck with 4-8 lpa .. Iam surely doing definitely well from them because even iam from core branch I have transitioned my self into finance..by minors in bits and yeah there are many benefits from graduating a tier 1 college.

Worst case eh option lekapothe join VASAVI it's the only good college I can say because it doesn't have management quota peer group will be of 95+ percentilers in jee mains ...it's placements are also pretty much decent.

A week ago I think, I have posted hyd campus placements probably ts was same as you can see in photos(pilani campus) ...so when I posted I mentioned in post that the placement % will increase 10-15% ...then boom firsties and bootlickers of bits had started false justification and delusional numbers..I received so much hate ,threat in my dms,,which forced to delete post.but if you see the photo in my post, one graduate posted the pilani campus stats..see he also mentioned 10-15% as ambitious...now iam again posting this for bootlickers and identity crisis people.

What i want to say as a bitsian - take only top branches in bits on education loan don't even think of core branches on education loan.

Now don't cope this with like " I will take fin minor and sit for consulting/finance roles" ...for your kind information this year only few companies visited for that roles for which hundreds were aimed.

edit :- guys u/LuminousCoffee Comment is slightly misleading, he said "You will get placed, don’t worry, but if for example a median salary in CS is 30 Lpa, and Phoenix is 22 LPA, in mech it’ll be 13-14 LPA" 🤭 which is absolute untrue for example of mechanical...he himself a student of bits hyderabad.. doesn't know how market is for core ..like i said previously core placements percentage is low ..dont get mislead by average and median.

Many posts and comments these days are misleading and providing wrong info to the new joiners....

  1. Branch decision - see if you are from middle class or lower income families for you only placement matters so take a branch which is in demand in our country like don't go below pheonix.
  2. what if you have interest in core branch ( civil/mechanical/manufacturing..)..if you're fees is funded by your parents then only join bits...if you have to take education loan then don't join bits ...prefer nits over bits in this case
  3. about environmental engineering...you might not know...this particular environmental engineering is offered in dtu from many years ...and average package there is approx 10 lpa and with less placement percentage....I have seen in comments many firsties saying this branch has scope etc etc ...yes it indeed has but not to give employment opportunities for a fresher ...roles like esg consulting etc prefer masters ..so take this branch solely if you have interest and fees is funded by parents... don't take loan for this.
  4. pharmacy/pharmaceutical engineering:- this Is a great course in bits.. especially hyderabad campus..due to specific reasons 1)it is just away from few kms to one of the largest pharma and biotech giant in whole world yes..it is known as genome valley near shamirpet.... 2) it's ranking - in recent 2026 qs Rankings bits is ranked 45th in whole world ..it is the best course if you want to further do masters/phd in ivy league... don't expect placements in core pharma if you get job also it would not more than 60k.
  5. About Dual Degree - I cannot comment on this ...as it depends on your hardwork you put in your first year.

DON'T WASTE TIME HERE NOW TILL SECOND ATTEMPT, STUDY HARD!

Pheonix branches ( eni,ece,eee ) the one in photo .

B.E cs - don't know % placed but 25 is average and 26 is median

B.E chemical placements - 30% placed

B.E Mechanical - 42%

Overall placed percentage ( ug ) - 55%

It will touch till 70% overall because sem2 placements are still going.

And phoenix will touch max 55%

Now Telling Raw Reality:- many of them are mad for studying in bits...bhai bits is bits ... cannot judge based on this but yeah ...many people Studying in bits are on education loan ..fee is 33lakh for single degree and 42 for dual...it's important to consider before taking admission. Baki you have mcn scholarship but you need 7+ for 50% and 8.3+ for 100% scholarship .. provided your family income is less than 15lpa

Edit :- to the people who are saying sem2 ppo are yet to receive etc etc ...I already mentioned above and everyone knows it will hardly make difference of 10-15%. why making chutiya of upcoming aspirants and others just to feel better because we are studying bits...stop bootlicking a institution.
