My father’s side is from Nalbari and I live in Guwahati but my accent has become Jorhatia

I lived in Jorhat for 5 beautiful years. Jiman din asilu it was beautiful. The small town vibe is so nostalgic. What I noticed is that mur juntu accent ase xetu etya jorhatiya hoi gol ge. One day I asked my grandmother “ Pani ase ni??”

Wish to go back to Jorhat someday😄

What exactly is this in Nagaland border?

Seems like some kind of sand mining? Theres lot of machines and Trucks. Its near Bihubor , Sivsagar one of the worst affected places of 2026 Assam Floods. Definitely the cause isn’t cloudburst for sure.

There is sudden rise of people asking for flood donations

I was driving towards sixmile from science museum when two ladies with donation box jumped in front of me and cursed me for not paying any. Eneke kune donation hude bhai? Also zooroad near spm there are group of boys in damn care attitude chewing tamul pan wearing jewelleries and sunglasses asking for donations though they were respectful.

Government r MLA burok donation krne hudok, manuhok eneke rastat goi goi nuhudibo. Gari brake mari bo dikdar hoi jai. Manuh e already di e ase. Moio disu.

Today I saw a group of people asking for donation

They came from Sivsagar and were standing outside Reliance near Zudio Beltola, I went with my gf to buy a small cream ( we are students) at first I ignored them but a guy in white shirt and spiky hair with sunglasses said “ hbo ehte dibo nuare in very insulting fashion” later I paid 200₹ but they aren’t even a bit thankful.

Bhai olop tu thankful ho lagile 100 e diu ba 200 disu tu atleast.

This video is from wireless and it shows how smart the city is truly a masterpiece that would be studied by historians 1000s of years later.
