Why have I had such a trying time forming deep, lasting friendships?

Growing up, I've always felt..different. I noticed i do horribly in "cliques". I cant even fake it. However, I noticed I was only successful in them when I was the "leader" per say. But I prefer one-on-one friendships. I can make friends with no problem, but turning them into a long lasting friendships, there never seems to be any reciprocity.

My family has constantly told me I cut people off the second they do something I dont like (ive improved DRASTICALLY over the past 5 years). and I tend to make a friend or two, then we just fall off. Most of the time nothing happens. Ive always wanted to be the one that had a close tight knit group of girl friends. My birthday is coming up and i only have one girlfriend that i actually enjoy! This makes me feel uncomfortable so I’m coming here to see if theres something i may be doing wrong? or not enough of? I will admit, i need to make an effort in joining a sports team, social group, etc. just to get acclimated with people my age. Ive just been so busy!

I can only pinpoint two times in my life where i met some dope ass females! One had strong opposing religious beliefs, so I figured we wouldnt be long term friends anyway. But the reason we stopped talking was that she graduated from school before me. And as I think about the other friend...she had strong opposing religious beliefs as well, and pretty much fell back when i didnt want to conform. She also disclosed a mental disorder and said she suspected that got in the way of communication as well.

Oh! Also i do VERY well with older people. As in 10+ years older. Like the older the better. Ive never really had younger friends besides the one girl i talk to now, but she's mature for her age! Its been like that since childhood and something my mom would frequently point out. Any advice?

PLEASE HELP! Vision is still unstable 3 months after a chemical burn

I gave myself a chemical burn 3 months ago from a lash glue, and I'm still having trouble with vision.

When I walk outside, it's feels like someone electrocuted my eyeballs. I see shimmery, vibrating almost colorful like glitter. I've seen an optometrist, ophthalmologist and a neuro ophthalmologist and they all say my eyes look PERFECT. The
ophthalmologist suggested | keep using preservative free eye drops every 2 hours. I was on a round of eye steroids, and was told to discontinue. That was two months ago.

My eyes always feel dry and I feel like I can rinse my eyes in water for hours because it feel SO good (obviously I don't rinse it for hours). I also sleep with an ice pack over my eyes at times.
is this normal after receiving a chemical burn?? Everyone is saying I'm healed but I don't feel like it!

Am I a good candidate for porcelain veneers??

I’m looking into getting porcelain veneers, but I’m not sure if I would be the right candidate. My two front teeth protrude out and I’ve had my orthodontist say if I want to fix it, I have to get all four molars taken out, so that it’ll have space to even out with braces.

Also, my bottom row of teeth are different sizes and one has a slight chip. The last picture is the goal I’m trying to get to. Also, I do bite into my food hard… Like very hard, so I wouldn’t want to mess up the veneers. Any advice?

Based on my natural skills, what business that’s in demand would best suit me?

30 F. Graduating with my bachelors in accounting next year. I’m naturally good at learning, organizing, communicating, researching, planning, writing, marketing, teaching, and business. I’ve also had a fascination with “contracts”, as in drafting them.

I worked as a preschool teacher for the last few years (I’m done with that chapter. Burnt out).

Business and entrepreneurship has always been in the forefront. I’ve always known I was never meant to work for anyone, but that’s easier said than done.

I love using my mind rather than physically working. Right now, I am in charge of my family’s massage therapy business. I do all the scheduling, advertising, social media content, etc. which I love! I will say I’m very good at persuading people, especially when it comes to booking a massage. I also love creating websites.

Also, a dream of mine has been to sell janitorial supplies to schools, churches , etc. i’ve always been drawn to “boring” businesses.

My question is, what should I actually start? I’m not even sure what’s in demand and I really don’t want to jump into a super saturated market or something that seems impossible to sell. Any advice?

Are guaranteed hours still owed if the parent temporarily loses custody?

I’m a nanny, and I have a contract signed by both me and the parent I work for. The contract includes:

•Guaranteed 16 hours of work per month.
•Two weeks’ written notice to terminate the agreement.
•A list of emergency exceptions (illness, severe weather, hospitalization, etc.), but nothing about divorce or custody disputes.

The parent recently told me they’re going through a divorce and temporarily don’t have custody of their child. Because of that, they said they don’t know if they’ll need me until after a court date.
The agency owner told me there’s nothing she can do and suggested I could clean the house instead, but my contract only lists childcare duties. It doesn’t say guaranteed hours can be replaced with housekeeping.

One thing I’m unsure about is that the guaranteed hours clause says the family agrees to schedule “16 hours of work per month on agreed upon days.” We hadn’t agreed on any July dates before the custody issue came up.

My question is: Does the family still owe the guaranteed hours because the contract wasn’t terminated, or does the fact that no July dates had been agreed upon mean they don’t owe them?

Is Reta the right choice for me?

I’ve been taking Tirzepatide on/off for almost 2 years. I’ve always plateaued even with exercising and eating clean. I’m 5’5 and 160lb. My goal weight is 135lb. I’ve heard Reta is like the king right now and I’m very interested in trying it. My plan is to start at 1mg and see how my body takes it. Do you think this will finally help me drop the 25lb? Thanks!

Will my Pell grant cover my college classes? How does this work

Hey guys, I’m not really sure how this works. I went to one university and they said I only have $600 left in unsubsidized loans. But I have money left over for my Pell grant. So I’m confused why they couldn’t just use some of my Pell grant money to cover my classes.

Anywho, I’m transferring to a new college now and I’m trying to see if they can just use the Pell grant money that I have left. Is this possible? It’s a cheap online college that I would be attending. I basically don’t wanna come out of pocket for anything, but I’m trying to see if this is possible. I’ll upload some screenshots. Thanks!

Can I go back to 2.5mg from 9.5mg?

I have been on Tirzepatide since Jan 30th of this year. Im 5’5 and started at 175lb and now I’m 159lb. My goal weight is 135lb.

I’ve been slowly titrating every four weeks. But honestly, the side effects have been grueling. It’s mainly feeling fatigued. Everyone recommends working out while you’re on this medication, but I literally could not. It was so severe that I took a week break, and now I feel amazing! This is the first time in months that I’ve been able to work out.

Tomorrow I am due for a shot but I want to go back down to 2.5MG. I actually had energy to do things.

My question is, is it safe to go back to 2.5 MG? Ironically, my weight loss has been slower since moving up in dosage. I kind of feel like I went up too soon because technically I was still losing weight on that amount.

Help! Does this look authentic?

My friend put me onto her bag lady who she swears by. It’s supposed to be 1:1 quality. Does this look like the authentic Chanel bag?

How do I go from 160lb to 130lb?

I started Tirzepatide February 2026 at 174lb. As of May 30th, I’m 160lb.

When I tried losing weight in the past, I was always between 155lb-160lb. I haven’t been below this weight in five years and I would like to break that cycle. But I don’t know how or what to do differently.

I don’t really workout. I’m willing to, but idk if I should focus on strength training or cardio. Also, I know eating healthy is important. It’s hard enough that I don’t eat much on Tirzepatide. I don’t want to dial back even more on calories.

My goal is to get to 130lb in six month. Any tips? P.S I’ve been on 8mg for three weeks.

Recent lashes that I did sent me to the E.R last night...will my vision return to normal?

I recently applied lash clusters on myself Monday night. Then I started to fill a burning sensation. I wasn’t sure if it was from the glue that I used or the sealant I applied afterwards. So I removed them. The next day, my eyes were burning all day. I rinse my eyes out multiple times with water, but that did not help.

Then comes Wednesday, I woke up in. My vision was very weird. It’s like I see moving static, and everything is swirling around me. I tried not to panic. I use some eye drops I had in my cabinet and some eye antibiotics I got last year, but both did not help.

Fast forward to Friday, I could not take it anymore. It has been affecting my vision and sleep so I went to the ER. They prescribed me a steroid, eye drops and pain medication for my eyes. (I’ve attached a photo of the lash product in medication’s that were prescribed).

Has anyone ever gone through this? I’ve been using this lash glue/seal for the past year and it seemed to never have given me trouble. But my eyeballs feel like they’re on fire, vision was going in and out, blurry, seeing static. And it feels like I have a 10 pound weight on my eyeballs and a headache. I start my medication today, but I’m just trying not to freak out. Will my vision return to normal? Help

I’ve had tinnitus for five years. It ranges from crickets to static to a melody playing in my head. I’ve been to ent’s, upper cervical chiropractors, neurologists, and nothing.

I will say one time on a whim, I massaged the crap out of my neck and the ringing stopped. It was only on the right side. Then of course it came back.

I also always massage my jaw. It’s like a huge relief. But the ringing is still there. Has anyone gotten rid of their tinnitus? I know it’s complex but at this point I’m desperate.
