Hello, I have a cross-stitch I’d like to frame but am have a hard time deciding which frame type or color. The frame I’m thinking of looks like the one in the second photo and the gold colors available for the frame are in the second photo. Does this frame in new gold seem like it would be good for my image or should I just go with something else. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
I need to put most of my Star Wars LEGO collection in storage for about a year. I decided I couldn’t do that with some of my smaller sets so I went to IKEA yesterday to try and find some display space solution when we don’t really have space for extra furniture. Found it! Now to play collection triage and decide which sets get a space.
I noticed in where the pink circle is that the border is far too close to the leaf in the pattern. Something was off. The only part of the border that didn’t have good curvature in the scallops was the one I circled in blue. The curvature was too low, meaning it has a large radius. So I started counting. Turns out I have DOUBLE the amount of beads in one section of that scallop. So all of the border starting at the blue circle and going towards the pink to where the border ends needs to come out. I will not cut out the beads. Instead I will pull each one out carefully until the mid part of where the beads are in the blue circle. I’ll start tomorrow. Oh well. Good lesson to not become distracted by talking while beading. Which is probably why I over counted so much.
Forgive me for not remembering what this was, I was a young mother at the time and that took my priority.
I had this 7” around 2006 and lost it in a move years later. I don’t remember the title of it. This is what I remember the cover looking like. I’m pretty sure it was Stereolab. Anyone know what this may have been. I’d like to get it again.
Thx.
My late husband used to work on the Saturn V engines for NASA in Mississippi, which is where their Stennis Space Center is in the late 60’s. I’ve attempted this pattern twice in the past but never really liked the fibers I choose. This time I am happy with them. I still need to remove the failed attempt at using a fuchsia shade first. Thanks for the input last night on my thread shades.
