I had these 2 girls born today! Both of them are 12BO G2 cubs with the Ukame base. I posted them on chat before I realized that their extra marking was also BO and bought the expanded slots. The next highest I have is a few 10BO cubs. I'm thinking of kinging one of them!
My mom and I just moved into a new house. This dream is about that. It's also the first nightmare I've had in a really long time, but it might be because I forgot to take my meds. It was super vivid and I'm extremely unsettled because it was so difficult to tell from reality. I just woke up and I still can't tell everything from reality.
It went like this. Everything below was in the dream.
I found a video on TikTok about a guy talking about weird stuff going on in a house that was up for sale, something about previous owners. He posted a picture of the house my mom and I have just moved into, with my mom's car in the carport. I said something about the house being sold (without mentioning that I was living there), then showed it to my mom.
She told me the guy had been doing something with the walls. We're a very Pagan family, so she suspected some form of energy manipulation. She saged the house, then blocked him on her end and went to bed. I also blocked him, then went to scroll on Reddit on my computer. A few minutes in, I got curious and searched his username, "LNR16".
It turns out he was linked to a lot of hacking related subreddits and outside forums. He was also big into spellwork and breaking and entering. So I made sure every door and window was locked down, then went to bed with my dog.
When I "woke up", my phone was nonstop buzzing. I opened it and looked at the notifications on my latest post. It was 1,127 comments from all kinds of different accounts, all saying "F1ND TH3 N0DES." I looked into it a little, and the nodes were spellwork components that had been left around my house, which I have no clue what were for, just that they were things with heart shapes on them in some way. Nothing had been broken, and no doors had been forced, but I found 2 in my desk. I got scared and ran to my mom, crawled in bed with her, and cried that I didn't feel safe in this house.
That's when I actually woke up. I have never felt unsafe in the house. Maybe mild unease during the viewing, when there were no furnishings to speak of, but never unsafe. I'm laying in bed typing this because, like I said, my family is very Pagan, I woke up at 3:33 AM, and there's a mirror on the back of my door that I am avoiding looking at. As soon as I feel safe, I'm saging the hell out of my room.

Troubleshooting I did:
Tested power cable: It works (plugged it into my phone to see if it was sending power. Phone showed super fast charging)
Held power button for 1 minute for a full power reset after unplugging everything (mouse and charging cable)
Neither worked. I'm going to call Lenovo but this is a last ditch effort. I really need this laptop for college. Please help!
The laptop being used is a Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1, with Windows 11 Home vers 25H2, OS build 26200.9168.
After the latest update, Windows Hello fingerprint recognition will not work. I installed the update on 6/6/2026. The laptop has a built-in fingerprint scanner that has worked fine since I got the laptop a year ago, so it should have the fingerprint scanner that is compatible. Disconnecting my USB hub from the computer doesn't do anything. Is there a way to fix this in software, or is this a hardware issue?
I've been trying for Constellation ALL JULY. My last 2 Mulberry NCLs that I got bred during July were set to give birth today. I didn't get the combo base notification (got it April when I bred a Primavera) so I checked the 6 cubs thinking I'd maybe get a Divine pass from their dad or some similar black or red base.
Lo and friggin behold, the very last cub I check is a Constellation base. A G2, 6 BO Constellation cub. I hyperventilated for a full five minutes and had to physically restrain myself from shouting because the entire house was asleep. This is my 2nd combo base ever bred, and I rolled this morning thinking my last 2 Mulberry girls would give me duds and I'd have to wait for next year.
The girl is secured and protected (I am not taking ANY chances), and I already have some decor on her that isn't shown in the picture. She looks very pretty at natural opacity, but kinda ugly at max. Her dad's name is blocked out for privacy. I'm super happy I got her, especially since last month was only my 2nd July event! Next year, I will be trying for a Pulsar!

So my aunt took my 2 cousins to a local fair/festival, and my 11yo cousin got a baby yellow-bellied slider as a prize (why an animal as a prize???) He/she is in a large tote with 80°F water and a heat pad to keep it at 80° until we can get a lamp and a tank, with some rocks inside that the turtle can climb up to get out of the water. She thought that the little goldfish carrier tank would be just fine for the turt to live in but I and my friend got thru to her and my aunt that it needed something bigger and told her to start doing research ASAP. We need to know things like what substrate is needed, what food it needs, how big we can expect it to grow, ect ect. Thanks in advance!
I consider myself a "baby artist". I'm still trying to get a handle on humanoid proportions and shading, and I do mini studies on my favorite characters from games and shows to help. Right now, I'm seeing some discourse in my friend groups about this character, Connor, and the game he's from, Detroit: Become Human. I've been told that the game does nothing but promote AI rhetoric, that I shouldn't have bought it (I didn't, it came free with my PS+ subscription) even though I got it before the AI discussion really started up, and that I'm wrong for identifying with him because he's an AI. I identify with him in the sense that Connor is very autistic coded and struggles to pick up metaphor and social cues, as well as being very driven to solve a puzzle when he's given it. I'm also autistic and struggle with social things in the same way, and, if I'm given a puzzle, I can spend hours or days on it. And, like Connor, I have to be doing something to keep my hands busy if I'm waiting for something. I'm also being told I'm being pro-AI because I like the game and the character.
Honestly, I don't know how to feel about it all. In my eyes, the androids in D:BH are very different from today's LLMs. They were built and coded to be pretty much indistinguishable from humans visibly (aside from the temple LED), and deviants come off as entirely human in the case of wants and needs. Deviancy is treated like a transferrable "virus" from what I've seen, with deviants being able to transfer deviancy to non-deviants. That virus had to be coded in, and had to start somewhere. It was started by human hubris, just like how today's image and text generation is becoming more and more "human". I understand that the game is a statement on the rise of AI, and how a rise of perfectly human AI could go very wrong for humanity, but am I so wrong for liking a character that, in his source, is an AI?
Anyways, rant is over. Constructive criticism on the study and practice shading is welcomed, so is discussion about the rant.

This is my first actual project. I saw the new Anubis base and immediately wanted it, but I didn't want to just slap it on any old lion and call it good. The linked Chatter page is a log of all the steps I took to get where I am now, and to log any progress I make.
Preliminary: Making the Design
I already know the base I want, so I started there, and with the Male Spirited pose. So I started with this:
Pretty basic. So, I started messing with mane shape, color, skin, and eye color, and ended up with this:
That's a Regal Ardor mane, White skin, and Mist eyes, all of which can be achieved with applicators. After that, I started messing with markings. I want him to be high BO, so I initially went with these traits and opacities:

Mane Color: Ardor
Eyes: Mist
Skin: White
Slot 1: Briar Frosty Roan 50%
Slot 2: Appaloosa 1 Rhubarb 40%
Slot 3: Feline 1 Cassis 60%

Slot 6: Beet Ocelot 40%
Slot 7: Goridhe Quail Flecks 60%

So that's 9 BO traits, 1 Piety trait, and, counting the base, 3 "factor" traits (Mane Shape, Eyes, Base). He'd look like this:
But after talking to the people here and snooping into how many lions have those traits in those spots, I had to change Slot 8 and swap some markings around, ending up with this:

Step 1: Gathering the Traits and Apps
The first thing I did was search the trading center. I got cheap fodder cubs with the marks I needed in slots 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, and 10, and immediately used Marking Removals to remove all but those slots from them. I got Slot 8 by breeding to a king with Briar Dapple in slot 8, and as of this post, the cub is 9 months old. I also got Slot 6 by breeding to a stud (big thanks to alder 🎠 G1 12BO 7xAppaloosa (#196986) for being willing to help with the project!) who's working on their own project. That cub is now the King on my side account. The only marking I'm missing now is Slot 2: Feline 4 Rhubarb, which I have a trade up for offering 10 GB, as well as any item from the July event shops up to 200 AC.
With the gathering of lions (almost) done, I started gathering the applicators. I need:
Echo of Anubis (Afterlife Base applicator)✅️

Ardor Floof (Ardor)

The other applicators will be bought closer to the final product (Hopefully closer to February, since the Ardor Floof app will be much cheaper then).

I'll be getting a Heavenly app anyways since I do want to get an Eclipse lion later on, maybe in October when the other app factors are available. Right now, he's got a Demonic base, but I do want to try my hand at some more combo bases since I've only bred one so far.

So with the new bases out (and me going to Anubis like always), I decided that I want to start a breeding project. Obviously the base, skin, mane color, and eyes are applicator, so not something I need to breed in. But this is my first breeding project and I would like opinions on how difficult this might be since a good chunk, if not all, of the markings are BO. This is also my first design, and I might lose the Briar Rosette marking for something else later on. (Spoilered for substance use) Genuinely what? W h a t? I wasn't even going to look in the comments. This guy thinks he/she is so tough for hammering out a prompt for a pic of their MLP OC improperly smoking a bong and saying that the water is 'anti tears'. Didn't even get the smoke right. Not to mention the missing shoulder, ear, and the backlighting from absolutely nothing on the left side.
