Meta removed my touch to hold activate Meta AI option
Any news on this? Its annoying for this core feature to be removed with no issues. Ive had these for 5 months and they were lovely while I had it on, but its not a thing anymore and annoying
1.5 week update of my fry [Read Description]
Hi all, thanks for checking out my post.
My goldfish fry are now about 1.5 weeks old and seem to be developing nicely. This is my first time breeding goldfish, so this has definitely been a learning experience. Any constructive feedback is appreciated.
Before addressing anything else: yes, the rope has algae on it. The algae is mainly attached to the spawning rope itself rather than suspended in the water column. Water clarity and parameters have remained stable, and the fry seem very comfortable around the rope - they actively hide and rest in it throughout the day. I’ve been staying on top of water changes and monitoring closely, especially after realizing I made a couple beginner mistakes. Apart from the alge, which the fish seemingly love, the water is prefect, crystal clear.
Mistake #1: Overfeeding
Most of my research suggested feeding fry very frequently, so during the first few days I probably fed more than necessary. In hindsight, newly hatched fry obviously don’t consume huge amounts immediately, and I suspect the excess food contributed to the algae growth. I’ve since reduced feeding amounts significantly while still feeding multiple times daily using powdered fry/baby goldfish food. Since then, the tank has stabilized nicely.
Mistake #2? Leaving the spawning rope in
I originally left the rope in because some fry hatched later than others. At this point, though, the fry seem extremely attached to it. They actively swim into it for cover and return to it whenever disturbed, so I’ve chosen to leave it in for now unless it becomes a water quality issue.
Observations
- Day 1 (about 3 days after spawning): first fry hatched
- Day 3: final fry hatched
- Day 4: first feeding attempts
- Day 7: reduced feeding amounts significantly
- Day 10 (today): noticed the first signs of tail fin development, visible to the naked eye. They still look more “tadpole-like” than fish, but they’ve definitely grown thicker and longer compared to hatch day.
Questions
At what point should I consider splitting them into separate tanks? I currently have two additional tanks available.
When would you remove the spawning rope?
Besides the algae, is there anything obvious I should improve?
How do you guys take picture of them? They're so small and hard to get focus on for pictures?
Thanks again — this has been a really fun experience so far, and I hope i haven't committed any sins against fish kind.
Green Landscape [320x180px]
Hi all! Thanks for checking out my drawing. The bug to draw things was biting alot during my boring meeting yesterday, so I decided it might be fun to redraw one of my favorite vector landscape drawings.
Im really happy with the way the clouds turned out. All thoughts, criticisms and opinions are appreciated, and remember, I love you all

Hi all, thank you all so much for checking out my post. This was my first attempt at creating something like this. My country spends most of the year covered in rain, and there can be beauty found in the Rain. I love the sounds of rain on the roof, the way it bounces off my plants and the aesthetic it creates. As such, I decided to try to capture its beauty in a short video.
I initially tried shooting on a Sony A6100 with a 23mm f/1.4 lens, but I quickly found out that wont work haha. Therefore, I needed to revert to my old Nikon D3500 Camera, with the 70-200mm KitLens. I used my semibroken tripod as I didn't have a proper one during that time, resulting in a slight shake at the start of each clip. I specifically tried to capture the raindrops as they fell, as well as the way they interacted with objects. Since I was limited to 1080p 60, I specifically chose F8.0 for most of the shots, 120 FPS shutter speed and used ~2800 iso. Additionally I relied fully on natural lighting to create a proper aesthetic.
My post processing was simply attempting to artificially stabilize the footage, and stitching them together to the music that my friend created.
Im an amateur and this is my first attempt at this, so all advice, criticism and thoughts are very much appreciated! Do you think I captured the atmosphere well? What do you think I did well vs what should I work on? I like hard transitions, but i think some of them are too hard? Finally, how would you end of a video like this? Many thanks
