I think it's a combination of two things. One the main rewards for a decade of Overwatch being ugly recolors of the default skins that only new players with nothing better will use. Two in the past we've gotten high quality legendary skins for free for much less significant events and the drop in quality is glaring. And OW china getting literally $300+ worth of stuff adds salt to the wound. Please feel free to add anything you think I missed in the comments
