Pacifier use at 3 months — when do you use it, and how do you soothe in public without it?

My LO is 3 months old. Right now we only use the pacifier for naps and bedtime, plus the occasional time we’re out past bedtime (like a family BBQ that ran late) to keep her calm.

For those who’ve been through this:

**•**	When do you use the pacifier vs. hold off?
**•**	If we eventually want to phase it out, what do we do when we’re out in public and she’s fussy? Just use it anyway, or soothe other ways (walking, rocking, etc.)?

Would love to hear what worked for you!

What time are your 0-6 month olds waking?

We’re at 11 weeks on Saturday and I’m wondering what time your babies are waking up for the day - it seems like my girl is up at 7:30 for one last sleepy feed and typically is back to bed for another hour. She doesn’t really start the day until 840/9

I should be blessed but this but I’m personally sleeping in longer than I’d like because her wake up before that is 5am…I’m starting to feel like I should force myself to stay awake so I don’t ruin my days by this sleep confusion ( after 5am I sleep until 730 and I’m exhausted but have the energy at 5 )

Diaper bad for travel

Already have a diaper bag for daily use that is on the smaller side and just fits everything I need.

I’m wondering the best diaper bag for travel? Is it a backpack?

I feel like..it’s a backpack lol but definitely want opinions or experienced baby travelers

Furniture insight?

I’m an uneducated lover ( and somewhat collector ) of mid century pieces. I’ve found these pieces fairly inexpensive on Facebook and wondering if I should grab them?

Honestly the rocking chair is art regardless so I think I’m going to try and get it tomorrow - just not sure if the coffee table is worth it or it’s just solid

Sister or Brother to Sophia

We named our first little one Sophia..Planning to have a second I can’t think of anything I could possibly match the feminine sophistication of Sophia?

I also can’t think of a boys name as her brother.

We’ve played around about Eloise or Wesley

Any thoughts?

You can erase ONE storyline from the show forever. What goes?

To me Juliet arc is such a slog — an entire revenge scheme built around her brother Ben going to prison, and the payoff is… drugging Serena at a masquerade party? It’s so convoluted, and Juliet basically vanishes afterward like the show also wanted to forget it happened.

You’re a kitchen appliance now. Which one, and what’s your personality?

d be a 48” dual-fuel range because I’m equal parts practical and creative. I love bringing people together, and the kitchen is always the heart of that. Whether I’m designing a space, planning a themed dinner party, or hosting family and friends, I’m happiest creating experiences that make people feel at home. I’m built to handle a lot at once, I pay attention to every detail, and I believe something can be both beautiful and functional

2026 Summer Weather

Is anyone else weirded out by this summer’s weather at the Jersey Shore? Two days ago it was too hot to sit outside, and tonight the ocean looks like a November nor’easter. What is going on?

Hosting 13 but my dish set only serves 8 — is alternating two patterns tacky or intentional?

Hosting a lemon-themed Italian dinner party Saturday night (yes I know, lemons + Italian is expected, but it’s the vibe I chose and I’m committed 🍋).

Just realized my lemon dish set only serves 8 and we have 13 guests. No time to order anything before Saturday, so here’s what I’m working with: 8 lemon plates with a stripe, and 5 solid green plates.

My plan is to alternate them around the table so it looks intentional rather than like I ran out of dishes. Green would pick up the color in the lemon pattern so they do coordinate.

Is this horrible?

2 months old - what I’ve used the most

I’ll start by saying I’m not a gadget girl but here is what I’ve used the most :

  1. Boppy pillow. A nurse convinced me to order this while I was in labor. It is a life saver for milk drunk cat naps and my arms.

  2. Owala Water Bottle with the straw and handle. If you are breastfeeding this is a must. Convenient to grab if you sit down with it still in the cofffe table or night stand.

  3. Trove collectors. We waste so much milk leaking. I started my stash before starting to safely pump this way. Amazing.

  4. The dumb Amazon egg light. It makes night time wake ups for me so much easier.

  5. One piece outfits. The two pieces are so cute but burping and picking up a baby with no neck control with a separate shirt on is hard.

  6. Pigeon glass bottle - when I’m not nursing we use these and she has no issues considering it isn’t frequent and I dropped it out of my car into the pavement and not even a scratch

  7. Diaper bag plastic inserts from TikTok - worth the hype!

  8. Loververy play tent. Do not be scared of the price. Two babies in my family absolutely are mesmerized by this

  9. A baby bouncer / l have the baby bjorn but it doesn’t need to be that brand

  10. Dock-a-tot or Snuggle me. Prime time for kitchen naps

The irony of sleeping

I know you shouldn’t let baby sleep in a snuggle me, but during witching hour and trying to eat dinner…she found herself sleeping on the banquette in her snuggle me. I didn’t dare try and move her so…I moved the snuggle me into bed between my husband and I for a movie thinking we are waking up for the last feed soon

Would you bet that she has now been asleep for 5.5 hours - her longest stretch in her short 7 weeks of life

Between us, in a queen bed at my parents house, in her snuggle me.

Now I’m wide eyed until she wakes up 🤷🏻‍♀️😂🤦🏻‍♀️

6.5 Weeks

We struggle with naps between 3pm and 7pm

The Friday on this screen shot was her BEST day with no crying or witching hour. I have no idea how I got her to take those naps other than isolating myself alone in the quiet and staying silent.

Also I’m aware the total silence to stay calm might be the answer but curious if anyone had any tips or thoughts on my week

Serena’s Blazers

I know blazers had a “moment” when this show was on TV - but please tell me someone else rolls their eyes when Serena is wearing another awful outfit accompanied by a blazer that doesn’t match???

Feeding / Sleeping

My little girl is 16 days old - she was back to her birth weight 2 days after leaving the hospital and gained 1lb in a week.

She currently wakes up from a nap fussing during the day time at 1.5 hrs after her last feed. I immediately offer her milk ( nursing ) and she takes one side about 8 min and the other 5-8 min

Am I wrong for feeding her every hour and a half? Am I afraid of her crying so stopping her with a feeding, or will she not feed if she’s not hungry?

She sleeps about 3hrs at night and wakes up, I feed her and then she’s back to sleep for another 3

Just looking for advice on if this is normal, I’m over feeding? Idk
