I think I may be a system...

Okay so sorry if I get my terminology wrong, I'm new to all this 😅

So I am a woman named blair but yesterday with my boyfriend I started feeling like things weren't right, like I wasn't blair. I felt like I was a boy named paisley (yes ik thats a feminine name but thats just how it is).

I feel like who I am as a person can be pretty cold, unemotional, and isolated from the rest of the world, but I get 'bursts' of emotion, vulnerability, etc. and I think those bursts are paisley coming out.

I think this 'second me' might be born from some trauma of being forced to live as a male for over 20 years even though I am a woman, maybe in a way acknowledging and finding a way to express that more open, emotional 'male' side of me that was forced to be cold and isolated.

I don't really think I have DID though, I'm certainly not diagnosed, and I also don't feel like I'm necessarily switching 'people', I have all my memories and there is a clear continuity between switches. But it is a noticeable 'switch' not a gradual change. I can feel when I become paisley and when I become blair. Being able to be paisley with my boyfriend has resulted in a lot of inner healing too and has made blair a better person too.

Idk, has anyone else had this experience? Is there a specific name for this besides DID or system? Sorry this is mostly just me putting this into words because I'm kind of new to this.

Blair (she/her) and Paisley (he/they) are my alters. Paisley does not mind being called she/her and you can call me either of my alters' names

Thank you for reading ~Blair

Reddness + Brownish Discoloration 2 Weeks Post Session

Hello everyone, I've been doing electrolysis for about 16 sessions, I feel like I'm not really going anywhere hair removal wise but I also know I'm supposed to trust the process because it takes time.

That being said, I have been noticing some pretty noticeable discoloration and redness that persists for weeks even after my session. I assumed it was a mixture of sensitive fair skin + beard shadow but now I'm not so sure. My electrologist says this is normal but I wanted to get a second opinion from y'all on whether I should hold off on my sessions.

I've been doing one session every 2 weeks but I'm thinking about doing 1 session every 3 weeks or every month because looking at my face all discolored like this is not very fun. It's pretty much permanent because by the time it heals I have my next session anyways.

I can't tell if this is just my beard shadow showing or if this is something I need to be concerned about. Any advice appreciated, thank you all

How can I make the crotch area less flat?

I feel like the crotch area is really flat and not very flattering. I'm basically looking to make the pants more form fitting so that they have some more definition, I feel like now they kinda look like a loose sheets or something. There's all this extra fabric but I'm not sure where I need to start removing from. The last picture is an example of what I'm kinda looking for.

I am new to diy and fashion stuff in general, I have only ever hand sewed shirts to make them more form fitting so I don't really know where to start in a project like this I don't have sewing machine but I'm pretty sure I could borrow one if needed.

Thank you!

Complete beginner no clue where to start

Alright so to start, I have been made fun of for my appearance a lot especially online so this is a bit vulnerable for me.

First pic is the finished look

Second pic is no makeup, just moisturizer

Third pic is primer + green color corrector (my face gets very red throughout the day but I think I used too much)

Fourth pic is color corrector blended in, then foundation and concealer

Fifth pic is everything blended out

Last pics are with lip makeup (lip liner plus lipstick) and some blush

Idk, very new too this I feel kinda like I'm doing clown makeup. I've followed a couple of tutorials but I still feel like something is off / uncanny about my makeup.

Also, do I need any sort of powder or something to set it all in? I feel like my makeup gets cakey and it starts building up in creases throughout the day. Any help is appreciated

Also no clue if this is the right place but I wanted to ask what sort of things I should ask an eyebrow person when I eventually get them professionally done

Products used:

CeraVe moisturizing lotion

Elf hydrating and poreless primer

Ulta green color correcting concealer

Tarte face tape 12N shade

Tarte creaseless creamy concealer 12N shade

L'oreal color riche worth it lip liner 601 shade

L'oreal color riche worth it lipstick 601 shade

▲ 3 r/leaves

I don't know how I am going to do this!!

I've tried quitting weed so many times but I'm starting a new medication soon which could have adverse liver effects and I'm using that as inspiration to finally quit once and for all.

My issue is that I can totally quit weed by just not buying more, but my boyfriend is also addicted to weed and he always has it around the house.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do this, I genuinely am such an addict 😿

Any tips pls??

I love the Season 1 Valentine's Day Episode (Dark Cupid) sm

I'm watching this show for the first time, somehow I skipped over this episode! So I watched it back an omg its my favorite episode so far. I love how chat noir has a non-reciprocal crush on ladybug while marinette has a crush on adrien, it's such a fun dynamic.

And the Dark Cupid villain was so good, his power to turn people evil was so exaggerated but so fun. Ladybug needing to kiss Chat Noir was sooo cute. And Marinette not signing her letter so Adrien thinks its from ladybug!!!!

I was recommended this show from reddit and damn I am having way too much fun. Also, does the show get less formulaic later on? I like the show but I feel like every episode so far is basically the same formula.

(MtF) Should I shave this area here?

I know some women have hair there, but I'm wondering if shaving it would be more feminine

u/DuncanMcOckinnner — 3 months ago

So how do I actually dress androgynously?

I am MtF but for a variery of reasons I don't think I will ever feel comfortable fully presenting female in public, but presenting male is killing me inside.

Are there any fashion tips so that I can dress a but more femininely without fully committing?

I've girlmoded once out in public and it was a horrible experience, like people staring at me literally it was horrible
