I played through the whole story and I still don't understand... What exactly was the deal between Michael and Dave ?

Did Michael have a deal with Dave before the heist, or only after ? Obviously Michael lied to Trevor about being dead, but did he also actually orchestrate for Brad and Trevor to be busted during the heist ?

A telltale sign that someone is cheating at chess.

The way the Algorithm was answering Camille's questions in the last episode reminded me of the way online cheaters behave in chess. In short, when someone is cheating at online chess, they aren't playing their own moves. Instead, they switch to a different screen, enter their opponent move on a computer, and then look at the best moves from the computer. A telltale sign that they are doing this is that there is a consistent pause between each move. Even if the next move is super obvious, they will take a few seconds to reply as they need to enter it on a different screen. Sound familiar ? It reminds me of how the algorithm is talking to Camille. Even for simple prompts like "Hello" or "I'm feeling stressed", there are consistent pauses between each answer, as if it were a person getting the answers from somewhere else. This could be because it's actually a person in a call-center setting frantically searching through the pages of their own version of "The Order" or just looking it up on a separate computer.

Here's a short video by the goat Jerry about how to catch a chess cheater online, see how similar it sounds to The Algorithm : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL0S9YWbDyM

tournament idea: Ranked Benchmark Test

a tournament in which the winner is decided solely by their score in the Ranked Benchmark Test

the draft is menu settings. players can strategize over what settings they are going to pick, for example if they know their opponent has a build that's strong for anti-aliasing but weak for water render they would pick all the extra water rendering settings

devs are alrerady hard at work rebalancing this exciting new game mode, for example last patch was a massive nerf to every existing Ranked Benchmark Test builds so a new meta has to be figured all over again

Morality of injecting a murderous mob boss with a time dilation drug before throwing them down a 200 floors megastructure so they can perceive hours of agony before dying ?

(Spoilers) I think the books intentionally leave out important details of a certain character's death, and the show will provide answers.

#book spoilers ahead

While re-reading the chapter in which Criston Cole dies, something struck me as odd. The passage reads :

>!Ser Criston drew his longsword from its scabbard. “As you will it. We can begin here, the four of us. One of me against the three of you. Will that be enough to make a fight of it?”!<

>!But Longleaf the Lionslayer said, “I’ll want three more,” and up on the ridge Red Robb Rivers and two of his archers raised their longbows. Three arrows flew across the field, striking Cole in belly, neck, and breast. “I’ll have no songs about how brave you died, Kingmaker,” declared Longleaf. “There’s tens o’ thousands dead on your account.” He was speaking to a corpse.!<

First, if the witnesses to Cole's death specifically say they will have no songs about the events, how does Maester Gyldayn know the exact words that were spoken leading up to it ? For contested events, he usually cites his sources and highlights when Munkun, Mushroom, or Septon Eustace differ in their story. But for this chapter, he doesn't even mention where the information comes from.

Second, it is impossible that Cole died as instantly as the text says, as if he was hit by avada kedavra and died before hitting ground. Arrows don't kill this fast. He had already drawn his sword and we are supposed to believe he died without any last words or a last fight ? It's like a whole portion was left out.

So what happened between the moment Longleaf ordered his archer to fire and the moment Cole died ? I think the way Gyldayn wrote it, we are meant to understand that there is a certain "song" or event that he, and other historians before he, have intentionally left out, perhaps because they were instructed to or it would be treacherous to mention. He writes in the negative, instead of saying what happened, he says : "I will NOT write about what happened". So what could it be ? Did Cole disgraced himself so badly that it would be bad manners to tell the specifics of it, or did he put up such a fight that team black were humiliated by it ? I'm curious to see how they depict it in the TV show.

What do you think actually happened before the Butcher's Ball ?

Question about Camille

If Camille knows that >!Juliet got a note from her soup, but she doesn't know who send it, why does she still trust Jerry to be her security ? wouldn't she replace all personnel who had to do with making and delivering the soup ?!<
