I'm feeling really anxious and would love to hear from parents who have been in a similar situation. * not looking for medical advice!* .

My 20-month-old (currently unvaccinated) was gently stroking a kitty with my help, in a forest/park in Greece. Completely unprovoked, the cat grabbed at his arm for a second and "bit" into it - If youre familiar with cats, it was this "warning bite". There are two tiny superficial marks, they bled only very briefly and are very superficial.

I've been spiraling about tetanus ever since, because the cats in this forest do live together with a ton of peacocks and ducks and are probably in a lot of contact with their poop as well as digging in the forest ground etc. - Basically everything that is risky 🫤

We are only here on vacation and flying back to our home country tomorrow. Would it be enough to get this checked out at home? Has anyone had a similar experience with a very superficial cat scratch/bite? How did it turn out? I'm looking for real experiences and reassurance while we get home. Feeling very guilty.

Sooo disappointed by this guy. He's not particularly creepy or mysterious in an interesting way. He is supposed to be an entity but doesn't have that "something is fundamentally wrong with reality" quality. He's just appallingly ugly. He looks like that pervert who catcalled you the street while you were underage

Being a Lovecraftian Horror fan, I had hopes that he would be a reference to the King In Yellow. I was let down HARD.

3 days ago, our 1y old clicked something randomly and a sexual content website came up. Turns out, husband has been breaking boundaries because weekly intimacy wasnt enough, while parents to a toddler, & me expecting another baby. 🙃

Today I discovered more. He has visited partly very alarming reddit pages like "traumatized whores", "traumatized sluts" etc, also "girls masturbating", "daddy's dark fiction", another page that has just selfies of women. 3 days ago, he swore to me that he was just viewing NSFW 3D models of videogame characters (which I less so had a problem with, than actual humans).

I am shocked by the extent of this. Its so hard being pregnant through this trauma. My body hurts. We can barely discuss this situation because we have to entertain our toddler, and can't show negative emotions in front of him.

He is a great dad, but I also don't want to be forced to work on this shattered relationship.

I really thought I had one of those rare, genuine guys, who really had my best interest in mind, and strength and self control and self respect.

Ich bin gerade etwas ratlos und könnte Input gebrauchen, ob das normal ist.

Meine letzte SS habe ich in einem anderen Bundesland verbracht & meine Hebamme war ein Segen, hat regelmäßige Hausbesuche ausgemacht um eventuelle Fragen zu klären und sie hat einfach so viel Initiative gezeigt. Habe durch sie extrem viel gelernt und wurde innerhalb Wochen von einem Noob zu einer Frau, die die Geburt selbstbestimmt durchstehen konnte 😃

Dieses Mal habe ich leider eine Hebamme, die sich seit dem Vertragsschluss in ca. SSW 10 nie wieder bei mir gemeldet hat. Inzwischen bin ich in SSW 20. Wir haben noch nie einen Termin ausgemacht, etc, obwohl der Vertrag eigentlich auch die Vorsoge beinhaltet.

Evtl. geht sie davon aus, dass ich mich schon selbst melde, wenn etwas ist, aber habt ihr auch solche Erfahrungen gemacht? Ich fühle mich irgendwie unwohl, weil ich so keine Vertrauensbasis aufbauen kann. Ich habe ihr einmal eine Email geschrieben, auf die sie nie geantwortet hat.

Ging es jemandem ähnlich? Was würdet ihr machen?

My 1,5y old is interested in washing all kinds of things and our local store offers one of these montessori toddler sinks right now.

I am interested, would you guys rather buy your toddler a realistic little sink (for example from lovevery) or just let them wash actual dishes in your actual sink with a toddler tower?

I can't stop thrifting cute baby clothes for a steal price & putting my kid in cute outfits. Once he has worn something, it's even worse, because I will remember all the occasions he has worn this piece and it's sentimental now. I have a good memory and lots of photos to remind me. 🫠 (I have donated a few things in the past and looking at photos where he wore them makes me feel guilty.)

I don't have any issues when it comes to any other belongings, but this topic is getting to a point where it's stressing me out. The entire storage is full of clothes he has grown out of (I am expecting the next baby & will reuse) and sizes he will grow into during the next year.

Should I just embrace being a minimalist-ish person with a giant baby clothes arsenal?

Weil das Wasserlassen wird ja sowieso häufiger und mehr tröpfchenweise je mehr Druck auf die Blase besteht?

Es fällt mir sehr schwer, das einzuschätzen, solange keine Schmerzen vorhanden sind...

Der Supergau ist bei uns zuhause vorgefallen, mein Mann hat die Kühlschranktür in meiner Abwesenheit nicht ordentlich geschlossen und es ist nicht sicher, wie lange sie offen war. Von irgendwann heute morgen bis eben gerade. Der Boden im Umfang von 2mx2m ist voller Kondenswasser und laut meinem Mann waren die Lebensmittel, die er probeweise angefasst hat, "etwas kühler als Raumtemperatur" (bei uns läuft den ganzen Tag die Klimaanlage, aber es ist nun mal trotzdem Sommer).

Würdet ihr euch noch trauen, was davon zu essen?

Ich bin normalerweise echt entspannt aber könnte mich gerade so aufregen. Waren gerade erst gestern für 150€ im Bioladen einkaufen 😓

Wir sind aktuell dabei, Wohnungsangebote anzuschreiben, und ich überlege gerade, was besser klingt.

Mein Mann verdient sehr gut, ich arbeite seit der Geburt unseres Kleinkindes nicht mehr und dabei wollen wir es auch bis auf Weiteres belassen.

Würde es euch (unterbewusst) abschrecken, wenn ich mich einfach als Hausfrau in der Selbstbeschreibung bezeichnen würde? Bisher habe ich immer geschrieben "ehemals [Beruf], aktuell zuhause beim Baby".

Oder ist es euch egal, solange einer der Mieter genug verdient?

Co-slept & nursed all his (18 months old) life. But now I am pregnant and overstimulated and tonight I realized I can't do this anymore.

It used to be a blessing that he is just nursing all night, because that meant none of us would ever fully wake up. Downside, if he ever loses the nipple in his sleep, he immediately starts shrieking.

My nipples are sensitive now and I just can't survive him sucking them all night.

I tried rocking and singing him to sleep for multiple hours tonight and it did not work. Sometimes he looked 95% asleep but being so close to my boobs seems to trigger him. Started bending and shrieking.

I honestly don't know how what to do. I'm so sleep deprived and horrified

A question for my fellow breastfeeding mamas.

When nursing while expecting the next baby, how does one realize that the milk is drying up?

How was it in your case? Baby getting frustrated? Or rather any physical symptoms?

I am 13 weeks along and genuinely can't tell a difference yet even though my gynecologist is mentioning it during every appointment

ich habe bereits einen Vertrag mit einer freiberuflichen Hebamme unterschrieben, die später auch die Nachsorge und Kurse übernehmen soll.

Nun war ich bei einem regulären Termin beim Frauenarzt. Dort gibt es ebenfalls eine Hebamme in der Praxis, und ich wurde im Rahmen des Termins von ihr untersucht. Ich wurde vorher nicht gefragt, habe vor Ort aber die entsprechenden Unterlagen unterschrieben.

Kann es dadurch Schwierigkeiten mit der Krankenkasse geben oder übernimmt diese beide Hebammen?

Wie war das bei euch?

My 17 months old loves his potty, every day he grabs a book and goes to sit on it (with clothes).

Now the last few days it has been very warm and has diaper free time, and it happened that he has been successfully pooping 2 times. However when he looked into the potty and saw it, he became really terrified and started crying.

I named everything and showed him how to clean but he would barely calm down.

He does not cry while pooping, just when he sees it.

Does anyone know why this could be?

Hello all,

I had a heavy bleeding during my 10th pregnancy week, the reason being a hematoma.

I am on progesterone ever since.

Does anyone here have experience & can tell me if they did continue their prenatal while taking progesterone?

I will ask this to my doctor on Friday, but maybe someone can point me in the right direction already.
