Has anyone taken down the Rabid Gisha Pack duel boss fight? WOW.

Has anyone taken down the Rabid Gisha Pack duel boss fight? WOW.

WOW. I stumbled into this fight down in the Well dungeon in Blackridge Hamlet... And holy hell. I got 1-2 hits in i think until They ripped me apart in a compact little arena.

If you did beat them what shell did you have and did you do it early or later game?

Note: I was only level 7....

Tainted Vestige boss quick guide Mortal Shell 2, for anyone struggling against it

For anyone taking on the prologue side boss The Tainted Vestige near the second Beacon... It's worth taking it out to get your first Burnt Effigy. I found it easiest to just dodge left and right right as his arms are about to hit the ground.

An Honest Review on Beast of Reincarnation video after beating it - An OK Action Game. I played on Gamepass where it was a day one release...Not sure I'd pay full price for this one though .

Beast of Reincarnation starts with a lot of promise. After spending more than 25 hours playing through the entire game on Xbox GamePass I find i liked the combat and look, really wanted to enjoy it more, but finished with very mixed feeling overall on it.

The combat is easily one of the game’s biggest strengths. Fighting alongside Koo feels great, the weapons and abilities are fun to use, and the world itself has some really interesting ideas and strong world building. Early on, Beast of Reincarnation feels like it could become something special. Unfortunately, the game starts to lose its way as the adventure continues in my opinion....

The lack of enemy variety becomes increasingly noticeable. The story, which starts with some interesting set up but begins to fall apart toward the end. The wooden character performances during cutscenes many of which can’t be skipped are frustrating.

All that said though, the biggest problem for me is the second half of the game. Feeling like the devs abandoned much of the semi-open world structure for a series of shorter, more linear areas that quickly push toward the end

Despite all of those problems, I don’t think Beast of Reincarnation is a bad game. The combat is strong enough that I absolutely want to see a sequel.

Beast Of Reincarnation - more Action game than Soulslike...

Definitely NOT a soulslike, which I'm ok with to be honest. Feels More like an action RPG.

My First Impressions: very cool world building, interesting mechanics, but a little unpolished in practice with some controls in this Action RPG. The hair mechanic shooting straight out is clunky.

Are you playing it? Thoughts so far? I'm only 3 hours in to my Let's Play and it is feeling like another middle of the road Indie that's gonna be a safe 7/10... Maybe a low 8 territory but too early to tell for sure.

Getting back into retro handheld gaming again starting the DS lite, what games should I pickup?

I'm getting back into more Retro handheld gaming (I still own and play NES/SNES/N64 but I sold all but my PS Vita over the years). I've gone ahead and picked up a Nintendo DS Light (so I can play DS & GBA games with the 2nd slot until I can find a good GBA SP 101 or reshell - MAN are those $$$$.)

Games I've picked up so far (that I'll likely cover a bit on my YouTube channel soon)

  • New Super Mario Bros (DS)
  • Batman: The Brave and The Bold (DS)
  • Super Mario 64 (DS)
  • Batman Begins (GBA)

(all the batman games are so I can do a Batman handheld episode on my channel later this year along with some Vita Batman Games I already have...)

What else should I pickup on the DS? (GBA has hundreds of solid games, but the DS?)

Some of the I used to have a long time ago when I owned one of these originally...

Nintendogs (DS) Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

  • (DS) Trauma Center 1 (DS)
  • Mario Kart (DS)
  • Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney 1 (DS)
  • Animal Crossing (DS)

To be honest I think of that old list I'd only seek out Zelda & maybe Trauma Center...

EDIT: I'm not interested in R4s Or ROMs as much as I'm interested in physical cartridges as I collect them (usually with the plastic case for DS and pure cartridge for GBA/GB/GBC/etc)

(spoiler) Third Sin Final boss - seemed overwhelming but may be my favorite boss

Did anyone else find they beat the boss too quickly?

I went into this fight and at first thought there was way too much going on and they overtuned the boss - she can kill you in three hits so quickly. But then after only a few tries I beat her. I liked this fight way more then many of Blasphemous 2 bosses including the base game final boss which was trash IMO.

I want more. The chain whip makes me want Castlevania Belmont so bad now.

This game feels like a modern Link To The Past... Demo was great.

I really enjoyed the Adventures of Elliot prologue Demo, which came in at just under 3 hours long. It feels like a modern Zelda Link to the Past. But I'm really struggling with this game being full price Square Enix.

WUCHANG - Ming General boss Lazy patience phase 2 strategy

I was struggling with phase 2 of this fight so I had to get very patient and keep it to bait, counter, and poke to beat this guy. (Before discovering the usual blade clash with Leach)

WUCHANG Fallen Feathers – Commander Honglan Boss Fight with Axe Rampage

You don't need the long sword I'd you have the rampage axe skill with the additional ability to heal and lift human enemies. Here is my approach if anyone is struggling with this boss.
