I sculpted my own Kvothe from The Kingkiller Chronicle

I’ve been wanting to create my own interpretation of Kvothe for a long time, so I thought this would be the perfect place to finally share him.

This is my digital sculpture inspired by The Kingkiller Chronicle. I tried to capture not only his appearance, but also that mix of confidence, intensity and mystery I always associate with Kvothe.

I spent a lot of time on the clothing and small details, but the lute was especially important to me. It felt impossible to represent Kvothe without making music a major part of the composition. I also designed the base around the world and visual language I imagined while reading the books.

Everything was sculpted and modeled by me in ZBrush.

I’d genuinely love to hear what other Kingkiller fans think. Does this feel like Kvothe to you? And is there anything you would have imagined differently from the books? 🍃🎶

I finished my Lovecraftian Chalice, a 1:6 cosmic horror relic sculpted in ZBrush

🐙 THE LOVECRAFTIAN CHALICE IS COMPLETE 💀

After bringing this strange relic to life piece by piece, it is finally ready to leave the depths.

I wanted this sculpture to feel like an artifact recovered from some forgotten underground temple. A ritual chalice shaped by something that clearly wasn't meant to be worshipped by humans.

The sculpture features a massive skull-like structure, organic tentacles, exposed vertebrae, ancient monoliths, occult symbols and inscriptions covering the ritual base.

Designed at 1:6 scale and prepared for both FDM and SLA printing.

I finished my Lovecraftian Chalice, a 1:6 cosmic horror relic sculpted in ZBrush

Finally calling this one finished!

I wanted to create something that felt less like a traditional character sculpture and more like an artifact that could have been recovered from a forgotten place in Lovecraft's universe.

The main idea became a huge skull-like chalice surrounded by tentacles, exposed vertebrae, strange monoliths, runes and occult details. I also spent quite a bit of time working on the back and sides because I wanted the piece to remain interesting when viewed in 360° rather than having only one strong presentation angle.

Everything was sculpted in ZBrush and I tried to balance the organic creature anatomy with the carved stone and ritual elements of the base.

This was a really fun excuse to go completely overboard with textures and tiny details. 😅

I'd love to hear what you think of the final result, especially from fellow Lovecraft and creature design fans. Feedback is very welcome!

360° turntable of my finished John Hammond fan art bust. How does the composition work from every angle?

I shared some renders of this John Hammond fan art recently, and now I wanted to show the complete sculpture in a 360° turntable.
I tried to make the composition interesting from more than just the main camera angle, especially with the cane, amber mosquito, clothing and the architecture of the base.
After some feedback on the portrait, I’ve also been paying attention to how the expression reads from different angles.
Now that you can see the entire piece in motion, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I updated my sectioned Facehugger Egg with a removable transparent shell. Would love some feedback!

I’ve been revisiting this Facehugger Egg project and wanted to experiment with a different way of presenting the cross-section.

The main challenge was keeping the complete silhouette of the egg while still making all the internal anatomy visible.

My solution was to create a separate removable front shell that can be printed in transparent or translucent resin.

With the shell installed, you still get the complete shape of the egg while being able to see the Facehugger and internal details through it. Then the entire front can be removed whenever you want an unobstructed view of the cross-section.

I also prepared different versions for FDM and SLA because I wanted the geometry to work better with each printing method rather than simply using the same version for everything.

Thanks to Ganbaru Studios for suggesting the transparent shell idea!

I’d love to hear what other Alien fans and 3D artists think about the solution.

Finished my John Hammond tribute bust. Would love some feedback from Jurassic Park fans! 🦖

Finally finished this John Hammond fan art project!
I wanted to create something that felt like more than a traditional character bust, so I tried to build a small piece of Jurassic Park around him.
The base takes inspiration from the park architecture, while Hammond has his iconic bamboo cane with the amber mosquito, glasses, hat and wristwatch.
I spent quite a bit of time on the smaller details because I wanted people to keep discovering things when looking closer at the sculpture, especially the amber and mosquito.
The entire piece was sculpted and prepared as a multi-part model for 3D printing.
As a Jurassic Park fan, this was a particularly fun character to work on.
I’d love to hear what other fans and artists think about the likeness and overall composition.

Some heroes never go extinct. My tribute to Alan Grant.

Like many of you, I didn’t just grow up watching Jurassic Park. I grew up dreaming because of it.

Alan Grant wasn’t the typical action hero. He was intelligent, compassionate, curious, and endlessly fascinated by a world that most of us only knew through books. Through Sam Neill’s performance, he became the face of childhood wonder for an entire generation.

When we lost Sam, it genuinely felt like we had lost a small piece of our own childhood.

This sculpture is my way of saying thank you.

Thank you for making us believe that dinosaurs could walk the Earth again. Thank you for inspiring countless kids to love science, nature, and adventure. Thank you for giving us a character we’ll never forget.

I poured my heart into every detail of this piece, and I hope that, somehow, it brings back the same feeling of awe we all experienced the first time those park gates opened.

“Welcome… to Jurassic Park.”

I’d love to know what Alan Grant meant to you, or which scene with him you’ll never forget. ❤️🦖

Finished my Alan Grant tribute bust from Jurassic Park

I'd love to share my latest sculpture with the community.

This is my interpretation of Alan Grant from the original Jurassic Park, created as a tribute to both the character and the incredible Sam Neill.

The piece includes the iconic Velociraptor claw and a base inspired by the Jurassic Park Visitor Center architecture. I tried to capture not only his likeness but also the calm determination that made Alan Grant such a memorable character.

I'd really appreciate your feedback on the sculpt.

A small tribute to Sam Neill with my Compsognathus digital sculpture

After hearing the news, I felt like sharing this 360° turntable of my Compsognathus sculpture inspired by Jurassic Park.

Like many of us, I grew up watching Sam Neill as Dr. Alan Grant. His performance played a huge role in my love for dinosaurs and eventually influenced many of my Jurassic-inspired sculptures.

This is simply a tribute from one fan and artist to another.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the sculpt.

360° turntable of my The Thing inspired creature bust. I’d love to know which angle works best.

I always like to judge a sculpture in motion rather than from static renders, so I made this full turntable to see how the silhouette reads from every direction.
My goal was to make every rotation reveal new mutations instead of relying on a single hero angle.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Mind Flayer Brain Tank inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3.

Hi everyone!
I’ve just finished this Mind Flayer Brain Tank inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3.
The idea was to create something that looked like it came straight out of an Illithid laboratory while still being practical for home 3D printing. I spent a lot of time balancing the overall silhouette with the organic shapes surrounding the tank.
One detail I’m particularly happy with is that the design can also be turned into a functional display using transparent materials, lighting and even moving bubbles, but my main focus was always making it look believable as an in-game artifact.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks for taking a look!

I sculpted an ancient Mi-Go relic inspired by Lovecraft. Looking for your feedback!

I've been working on expanding my Lovecraft-inspired series with relics rather than traditional character busts.

For this piece, I wanted it to feel like an archaeological discovery, something that could have been hidden beneath forgotten ruins for centuries. I focused on weathered stone, alien obelisks, fungal growth and organic textures to create that mysterious atmosphere.

I'd really appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks for taking a look!

Finished a 360° turntable of my Lovecraft-inspired Dagon Relic. What do you think?

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share the full turntable of my latest sculpt, a Dagon Relic inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s universe.
The goal wasn’t to create a character bust, but an ancient ceremonial object that could have been worshipped by cultists or recovered from a forgotten underwater temple. I spent a lot of time trying to make every angle feel interesting and believable.
I’d genuinely love to hear your feedback. Is there anything you’d change or push further?
Thanks for taking a look!

I sculpted an ancient Dagon relic inspired by Lovecraft. What do you think?

I've always enjoyed imagining objects that could actually exist within fictional worlds.

Instead of making another character bust, I wanted this piece to feel like an ancient relic carved centuries ago and worshipped by the Deep Ones beneath the sea.

The whole sculpture was designed as a single printable piece while keeping as much organic detail as possible.

I'd really love to hear your thoughts. Does it capture the atmosphere of the Lovecraft universe? Any feedback is more than welcome!

My interpretation of a Deep One from Innsmouth inspired by Lovecraft’s mythos

I’ve always loved how Lovecraft described the Deep Ones just enough to spark the imagination without fully defining them.
This is my own interpretation of one of the creatures lurking beneath the waters of Innsmouth.
I tried to make it feel ancient and intelligent rather than simply monstrous, focusing on fish-like anatomy, worn skin textures, and an unsettling facial structure that feels almost human at first glance.
The project also includes two different display concepts, one of them featuring a larger tentacle-themed environment inspired by the ocean depths.
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
