The Encaved Lakes is a new cavern biome that appears as a large lake filled with glowing plants and three new mobs. They are as common as Sulfur Caves and can generate around the same levels. With caves needing more biomes, here is an idea that you would hopefully like.

## New Blocks

Sediment stone. A turquoise stone that makes up the floor of the lake.

Glowing algae. A turquoise moss like block that can grow on any type of stone.

Glowing grass. A turquoise luminous grass that grows on the floor of the lake.

Tall glowing grass. Taller variant of glowing grass.

Glowing lily pad. Turquoise glowing lily pad.

Lake tites. Turquoise stalactites that are above the lake.

Lake spikes. Rarer turquoise stalagmites that are found in the bottom of the lake.

Urchin husks. Turquoise shells or urchins that are found in the bottom of the lake.

## New Mobs

Urchins. Doesn’t exclusively spawn in the bottom of the Lake. They also spawn in dripstone caves and sulfur caves. These animals initially appear as sediment stone when idle but spike up when players get too close. These mobs are neutral but they will attack players that get too close inflicting them damage and nausea. They can also “swim” and crawl around too. They have four hp and drop urchin meat when killed. Urchin meat can be eaten, cooked, or fed to the new Wader mob to heal them.

Harvestmoon. This new hostile mob appears as a harvestmen with a glowing green “cube” at one end and it’s head on the other. The enemy attacks by throwing its green cube at the player inflicting them with heaviness. Heaviness is a new status effect that prevents players from swimming. The monster will then attack the player dealing 2 damage in easy, 4 damage in medium, and 6.5 in hard. It has 40 hp and drops Harvestmoon Ichor and sometimes Wading Eggs upon death. Harvestmoon ichor can be brewed to potion of heaviness, used to nurture the egg, make a baby Wader mature, and allow a Wader to lay another egg.

The Wader. A new passive mob whose eggs can be found on the lake floor or dropped by the Harvestmoon. You can hatch the egg by submerging in water and placing Harvestmoon ichor on it. Once hatched(takes half a day), it will appear as a pale, six finned, no eyed, shark like mob with a crescent moon shaped tail. Once mature, you can mount it using a saddle and ride it on water. It’s the fastest swimming mob in Minecraft traveling up to 150 speed on maximum momentum. You can’t use riptide while riding the mob but you can glide them out of water like a flying fish and can fly up to 12 blocks high. You can also command the Wader to use its fins to slow the falling to get a better look around your surroundings. The mob would stop gliding once it’s dry. It can stay afloat while it rains.
