The comments on Engelbert having “transgender talks” (whatever that means) on r/nba nearly put me in tears, so many people just mindlessly parroting the hateful lines they’ve been fed about us over the past few years.

So it means extra to me that Nakase, Gabby and the fanbase are being unequivocal about this. I’m pretty sure Gabby is the only player so far to explicitly say she supports us. I feel really accepted here and that’s something I can say with decreasing frequency about other teams I follow, so I just wanted to extend my deepest and sincere gratitude to those who made me (and surely the many other trans fans) feel that way. Ballhalla is full of special people 💜🖤✌️🏳️‍⚧️

Are there any movies or scenes you can think of where guys resonated more and ended crying disproportionately to girls?

For me personally, I think of Furious 7’s ending, with its tribute to Paul. Another example is Tobey finishing Tom’s sentence, the iconic line from Aunt May/Uncle Ben in No Way Home.

I have ME/CFS and CPTSD and am looking to suss out what fatigue is the former, what is from having an endlessly activated nervous system from the latter, and what might be poor sleep. Does anyone have any recs for wearables that might help me get some data on that front?

i love Enssaro, my favorite Ethiopian in the Bay, but I don’t unmask indoors in public (not looking for opinions on that thanks 😅 i have my reasons), so I can’t eat at restaurants indoors. Does anyone know f the new Enssaro location has a patio like the old one or any outdoor seating?

i mostly self scout by eye test, savant, scouting reports and pretty much just use Brick Wall as my only dynasty-specific resource. But with Halp on hiatus and my league’s trade deadline approaching, I could use some more data points. How do you evaluate players/trades, do you use any resources? Outside of Brick Wall, I pretty much just know HKB, Fangraphs, Pitcher List and milbtracker.

Idk how Gabby doesn’t warrant a mention! DPOY-caliber year and the top scorer on the current 2 seed which most people projected to be around the 7 seed (ESPN projected we’d go 24-20). A lot of things have gone right for us this year but she’s unquestionably one of the biggest. I know I’m a homer but cmon Athletic ! :3

Worst

“Knowledge… the treasure… was knowledge.” - Harrison Ford, Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008, dir. Steven Spielberg). This is the most mailed-in line I’ve ever seen. It wouldn’t have changed much if he’d just broken the fourth wall and told the audience “my agent didn’t negotiate enough for me for this movie.” i love it so much it’s cracked me up for years
