Railjets wegen Hitze ausgebremst

Around 3 weeks ago, when I visited my parents, they both had a cough and runny nose with some unknown infection. Three days after I came back from the visit, I noticed the same symptoms. I became really sick and had to be in sick leave for a week.
Now it has been more than 10 days and I‘m still fatigued and have a runny nose. The main symptoms are gone but I still feel like sh*t.
Why does it take so long? It sometimes feels like my immune system isn‘t as good anymore as it has been.
I‘ve tried going to the office. Set myself a goal to go at least 2-3 times a week. But I never got anything out of it. Yeah of course, some colleagues are nice and funny. But it just isn‘t comparable to the comfort of working from home, getting much more shit done (maybe going for a bicycle ride or running errands during lunchbreak, etc.) and not having to do office small talk.
Is there anyone who really likes to go to the office when they could work from home? Especially if it‘s just a boring computer job. Not talking about jobs where it‘s mandatory / makes sense to go in.
I’m struggling with a lot of guilt right now.
Last weekend, one of my very good friends got married. I had fully planned to go, bought nice clothes for it, and was genuinely looking forward to being there.
Then, two days before the wedding, I got physically sick.
This has happened to me throughout my life. Before major social events, especially ones that feel important or emotionally intense, it’s almost like my body shuts down. I’ll suddenly get sick and end up having to cancel.
I told everyone as soon as I knew I couldn’t make it and stayed home, but my friends know that this is a pattern for me, so I can tell they’re really disappointed. That makes me feel even worse, because I completely understand why it might look like I’m avoiding these situations, even though I genuinely felt ill.
Now I’m dealing with a huge amount of guilt about missing such an important day.
Does anyone else experience something similar, where stress or anticipation seems to make you physically sick before important events? How do you deal with the guilt and with other people being disappointed in you?
I’ve also wondered whether my immune system is unusually sensitive to stress, or whether there’s some other explanation for why this keeps happening. and if there‘s some connection to my neurodiversity..
Suche sowas ähnliches wie zB. Mini Metro oder Subway Builder für Wien.
Einfach was, was man zwischendurch bisi daddeln kann
I’m genuinely impressed by how affordable GPT-5.6 Terra and Luna have become since OpenAI lowered the prices. GPT-5.6 Luna on extra high is really good, and I’m now using it as my main model.
You can work with it for hours, get consistently strong results, and barely make a dent in your usage limits. Compared with how expensive GPT-5.6 Sol or Claude Opus 5/Fable are, this feels genuinely revolutionary to me.
I spent the last year building a browser-based subway management game inspired by games like Mini Metro.
You build Vienna’s subway network, transport passengers, manage ticket prices, deal with rush hours and breakdowns, and gradually unlock new parts of the city.
The game is completely free and runs directly in the browser.
It’s actually part of a bigger project I’ve been working on: spielbar.net, a collection of browser games that I’m building on my own.
The next goal is to implement the whole metro system of Vienna (right now, U2 and U6 are still missing)
Play here: https://spielbar.net/games/ubahn
I’m currently in a muscle-building phase, and things are going pretty well. I’m gaining strength, progressing in the gym, and eating enough calories and protein, but I’m curious whether there’s anything else worth adding to support muscle growth, performance, or recovery.
I currently take:
My testosterone levels are already good, so I’m not really looking for a generic “testosterone booster.” I’m more interested in supplements that may actually help with hypertrophy, strength, recovery, workout performance, or tolerating more training volume.
I’m not interested in steroids. I’m looking for legal supplements with a relatively reasonable safety profile but also open to experimental stuff
Apart from the basics like creatine, protein, and caffeine, have you personally noticed any meaningful difference?
Thanks!

Feel very self conscious about my looks from time to time. On other days i‘m happy, what do you think? How can I improve?
I have no self control over my social media usage and it sends me into a lot of comparisons, bad thoughts about my body etc.
After my last social media break (which lasted for around 7 months), I installed Instagram again.
I had it now for 3 months and I‘m again going back to old habbits: Stuffing my brain with reel-nonsense, comparing my life to the lives of others.
Should I delete it? I want to enjoy life without having the constant thought of social media comparison in the back of my had.
I recently came across a post where someone was passionately defending 300 km/h high-speed rail as the only speed worth building for. But looking at the numbers, 250 km/h is actually the sweet spot in most cases.
On an 800 km journey, a 300 km/h train only saves about 30 minutes compared to a 250 km/h train. Yet reaching and sustaining 300 km/h requires significantly more energy, more expensive infrastructure, stricter track geometry, higher maintenance costs, and often lower capacity due to larger spacing requirements.
The physics are unforgiving: aerodynamic drag increases roughly with the square of speed, and the power required to overcome it increases even faster. That means the jump from 250 to 300 km/h costs far more than the time savings would suggest.
For many countries, a well-designed 250 km/h network delivers most of the travel-time benefits while being cheaper to build, operate, and expand, and more environmentally efficient.
What do you think about that?
I have been taking Ashwagandha for a year now. Somehow my libido has really tanked and I struggle with ED and general low hornyness. Can this be connected?
