I’m on my fourth episode of afib in six years. I’m keeping my heart rate down with atenolol but have some nausea and diarrhea.
Is that weird?
I have to get ready for my daughter’s baby shower which is tomorrow and can’t go into the ER unless my heart rate gets higher.
Also, my EP told me I don’t need to go in unless i faint or have chest pain. Though if my heart rate didn’t come down I’d go.
Heart rate is staying mostly under 100 when resting. Highest when I’m moving is 141
I had a major surgery in 2020 and it threw me into a fib for the first time the night after the surgery. I’ve been all checked out and I take Pradaxa and atenolol . It’s happened twice since and once I had cardioversion and the next time it stopped in its own after about 12 hours.
One started tonight (last happened last December) and I have big plans this weekend. Cooking all day tomorrow and throwing a baby shower on Sunday.
My heart rate is cycling between 63 and 115…just took atenolol but should I go to the ER?

After reading here for a month (it’s like a treasure trove!) I’m looking for a basic formula for my normal washloads.
We have soft water, front loading HE washer, two retired people so no huge amount of dirt regularly.
Does 2 tbsp. Tide free and clear powder with 2 tbsp of biz (plus hot water activated oxyclean for whites) sound good for a medium load? I also use citric acid in the rinse cycle.
Necessary context. Said by a 60 year old woman from Virginia about me, a 55 year old woman who is a mom and grandma so I’m guessing cherry doesn’t mean virginity. 😂. She’d just come back from a visit with us and said that to another person who mentioned it to my husband. I’m guessing it means…..fancy? I’m not but we did roll out the red carpet when she visited.

I’m 62 and don’t remember this ever being a problem in the past but my newest laundry machines (Electrolux..don’t recommend) are ten years old and this has been a problem since I got them.
I tried some kind of clip I saw advertised but it was even more of a pain to put on than unbundling the knot.
Anyone found some way to stop this?
I’m from northern Idaho and I’m curious about all the businesses selling huckleberry everything here and back home. I swear I’ve read that commercial picking on public lands is illegal and there are no domesticated huckleberries so where do all the huckleberries come from for all these businesses to sell their products?
Staying at a pricey RV resort (nearly $300 a night) near a national park and the folks in the three campers behind me are totally disregarding quiet hours rules. Blaring music, loud singalongs, screaming. Quiet hours start at 10 pm and it’s after 11 now and I have an early hike tomorrow. I’m a woman alone and not comfortable going over there so called the after hours/emergency number the park has in its website and check in info….and it’s disconnected. 🤬
I put earplugs in but now I can feel the thumping bass which is even worse.
When I was 10 in 1975 my family moved from northeastern PA to Mount Laurel, NJ…near Cherry Hill.
The kids all had this weird thing of pulling down their lower eyelid with a finger and saying, “mole!”
They used it in place of saying “sick burn” or “ha ha look what you did”…that kind of thing. Like sticking out your tongue at someone.
After a few years we moved and I have never heard of or seen it used again .

Where are you on going grey or silver? I keep trying to get there but dang. Being a redhead for 61 years seems so integral to who I am that’s it’s hard to lose.
So here I am, trotting off an hour and a half each way to the magical salon who keeps my hair from looking like it’s fake red every six weeks.

So we have a newish Airstream and a not as new Australian Shepherd who leaves hair despite regular brushing. We had what my mom used to call an “electric broom” but it was just woefully underpowered. Storage always being the issue in an RV we have space in a wardrobe for it but not for our big upright or even the Sebo canister vacuum. My budget is pretty open. I’d prefer not to spend $800 on it but I’d consider it.
