My hydroponics set up is a mess. It was so full and lush in the beginning. I had no idea some plants would take over others. Now I’ve got this big pepper plant that I’m not sure is worth keeping bc it’s not fruiting. Should I just cut this thing down and grow it in soil instead?

I’m torn about this. This set is producing so many lint balls it’s ridiculous. Do these frayed edges mean it will just keep producing lint balls over and over again? Should I throw this in the trash?
Does it look in very bad shape? I started hardening it off 2 days ago. I think it might have gotten sunburned in this heat wave. Will it be ok? Should I add fertilizer?

First time wannabe gardener here! Should I worry about any of the yellowing/browning on some leaves? They sit a couple inches below a grow light. Not sure if some of them are outgrowing their cells and need to be transplanted asap yet. Would a 5 gallon grow bag be too big to transplant the ones that are ready? Not sure why but I’ve been noticing this happening for the past several weeks. It’s only an increase of a pound or so but has nothing to do with a change in calorie consumption or anything (my diet pretty much remains the same throughout the week)
I’m a little lost here… I’ve read that this is supposed to expand to twice its volume but it doesn’t seem to be expanding at all…I’ve been working it in with hot water, breaking up the little bits with my fingers and trying to get all the moss exposed to water. Honestly I did not think this would be so labor intensive. I read that this is supposed to expand in 5-10 minutes but it honestly seems like the soil level has gone down by adding water, as most soil does. I’m been massaging it in for about 20 minutes. Very tempted to just fill this container all the way up to the top since my plant needs to be transplanted asap. What am I doing wrong? Help please 🙏

Do you think this would be a good pot to grow gotu kola in? It’s about 9 inches wide on top and 6 inches deep. Should I be concerned about possible heavy metals in the glaze or ceramic? The pot was imported from China. If the pot is not ideal, any suggestions/links to one that is great for gotu kola would be greatly appreciated! 🙏
If you had about 4 five gallon, 3 ten gallon and 2 fifteen gallon bags to fill, would you buy an already made potting mix or make your own? For those who have had success making your own, what ingredients should I get? I am completely new to gardening and feeling quite overwhelmed
